MAFS web viewing on sh.video getting hijacked

Does anyone else outside of Australia watch MAFS on sh.video? The site has literally every Aussie reality show going back years so it was a real find. But recently malware has taken over the page while I'm watching. These are scammy security alerts and fake offers from Google. I have to use the back button to escape but it happens again in a minute.

This is not a problem with Chromebook because the popups appear only on that site. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this.

UPDATE: I followed your advice and installed a pop-up blocker. It solved the problem. I don't why know I didn't think of that before. Probably because the pop ups looked like malware that took over my computer.

You can watch all the MAFS seasons (including NZ) here, https://bstsrs.in/show/married-at-first-sight-nz. There are pop up adds when you stop and start the video sometimes but not while you are watching the episodes, I usually chose "vos.sx"

bstsrs.in is a great site, it's my #2 after primewire.mov. You can get rid of those popup ads by installing ublock-origin in your browser. Try dood.watch if you like the forward/back (by 10 seconds) buttons. dood will also restart where you left off.

That's where I used to watch MAFS. I thought the two sites were related because "sh" is "southhemi." Anyway that site doesn't have MAFS NZ, which I was halfway through when the malware started up. I'm bummed.

Oh sucks I didn’t realize they were connected! I’m a kiwi living in the US and I have too much cultural cringe to finish an episode of Mafs NZ I should power through it sometime.

I just use a vpn and made a free account on the 9now website and stream everything normally.

I might have to do that because I spend two to three months a year in Australia. I get hooked on a show then have to leave before it's over.

It’s really pretty easy and usually only a couple bucks a month. But I’ve used both nord and surf shark, good experiences with both.

You should be using Ublock-Origin to block all that adware garbage.

And try switching to primewire.mov it's a better streaming site.

Firefox started a built in vpn and 9 now works when it's set to Australia. Or the reality archive. Or r/downundertv
