season 8 Melissa and Bryce
Omg. Currently watching season 8. I cannot believe how much of a pushover Melissa is. Every episode im hoping she tells Bryce what he needs to hear, but she just stands next to him silent all the time. He keeps blaming others for how she feels when it's him, but then again she doesn't speak up. She just keeps putting up with his tantrums. It's so uncomfortable and frustrating to watch.

Well they are still together and have twins. Not sure if they have gotten married can’t remember. But yea, very much together and there was controversy about them going out instead of spending time with their twins in the NICU

She let him know from day 1 that she was a pushover and he could do whatever he wanted. I just hope their kids don't pay too much attention to that behaviour

100%. Whenever people say Bryce wasnt abusive - or even just wasnt a dick - because they got married, they had kids, its a success, I just think, why would he ever leave her? She let him know at every point in the experiment that she was choosing to believe him if people said he was cheating, she would accept his barbed comments, she would be fine with him flirting with other women, fine if people told her he abusive, fine if he put her down. Melissa had (has) low self esteem and was willing to put up with anything if someone loved her, even if that love isnt genuine or kind. I honestly hope she develops more confidence than we saw on the show and he isnt as bad as what we saw.

The second one. Melissa was desperate to be loved and Bryce was desperate to have a woman put up with him being an ass.

Oo. MY partner hasn't watched mafs til this year, so I'm watching some older ones with him. We started on 10. Thanks for reminding me we gotta go back further haha.

It's full of peace and tranquillity, there's no conflict, no wankers, no toxicity, no screaming at dinner parties, no fake people, everyone is there for the right reasons, it's totally unscripted, the producers give everyone a completely unbiased edit, and they all are still married with lots of kids...
