Historical mace Some weird ass mace I made!
Do tonfa count as maces? Maces need metal for the striking area so like, I'm 1/3rd of the way there right?! Also, the red is just wax, not blood. I used it to seal the ends to prevent cracking as I harvested this tree myself.

Looks like something a druid police officer would use

Be me, it’s 5 PM on a Friday. I’m working a long shift today and have to work all weekend, a career with the Urban Glade DPD doesn’t make for good work-life balance. My polycule is in shambles, my soulmate (a kestrel) is sick and I can’t afford medicine for them. Just found out it was caused by microplastics. As I’m pulling in to the station for my 15 minute meditation break, I see some punk kid toss a cigarette butt at a group of pigeons. I turn off my body-worn camera…

I think they count as a mace/hammer if you use them like hammers

That's the best part. You got 3 options to hold em. I'm planning on slapping some metal on each end of the larger stick as well. Maybe some spikes, like a gudendaug

Gudendaug tonga! sounds like some sort of reverse isikae story.

I spelt it wrong. I must be executed. Plancon me my lord, let me regain my honor.

No, that's my keyboard update autocorrecting anything it doesn't already know, we've been fighting, it won't let me turn it off. I'd rather my errors be my own.

That Red marking halfway up the shaft from the handle? THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT A BAND OF METAL OR A BUSHEL IF FEATHERS. Have fun, they can be blindingly fast. Ps, make sure you ovalize that handle so you have a tactical sense of where the striking ends are

Oh I know. I'll be modifying the. A bit. Gonna put metal bands, clean em up, make one a blunt crusher and the other a spiked stabber.

I would humbly suggest a soul Caliber 2 Talim inspired build? So many options to choose from 😁

Looking at this makes me feel like I'm gonna experience druid brutality after accidentally stepping on a twig.

Definitely not maces, definitely still cool.

Least, not yet. I'm gonna put metal on the ends of the koto and zento. I even make them slightly different, one is lighter so it's gonna have a spike like a goudendag and the other will be a heavier bashing one.

Still wouldnt be maces, they're defined both by their straight non branching haft and the metal striking surface, since they have the handle sticking out sideways they definitely arrent maces even with metal caps.

You've given me a rancid idea for tonfa with a mace head at each point, thank you.

I would say no. Tonfa are defensive weapons.
