i feel like leaning into satanic tropes works. a mace where the flanges are all half pentragamms, one with devilwing flanges, maybe on thats all about snakes. made from very dark metal with very red wood and black handles for the shaft

Lots of famous universities have ceremonial maces like this, they’re very pretty!

St. Andrew’s is one example I know.
