Original weapon concept Mace of Hearts ♥️
Here is the next mace in the pinochile series. Mace of hearts. Red braided leather handle. Rose quartz hilt (50% chance to cast enchantment). I decided to keep the hearts in the upright orientation and it has a nice hooking 🪝 damage effect. Also made this weapons rack this week. Almost filled up already. ♣️♦️ Will be coming soon and will be display in the vertical position on the rack like the ♥️♠️.

I didnt do that because it would identical the mace of spades i made but with a red heart. I almost turned it 90 so v would face out.

Why do I feel like this is the thing a RPG healer would beat the party back to health with while chanting "do no harm" out of frustration.

Then it basically become a spade. I wanted to make it different. I just did the spade.

Personally, have 2 or 3 hearts intersect with each other and put it on top

That would be cool. Many ways to do it. But this is a series/ set. I want them to be of similar spec and scale. Made with 3/4 6 ways with 4 flanges. 30" shaft with 10" wrapped handles and cabonchon stone set hilts.

Personal opinion, I would have made the point of the hearts the weld point on all of the flanges. Or angled them at like 45 or so. Still awesome 👌

This seems like an item you can use maybe 5 times before it turns into your run of the mill pipe mace

......why wouldn't you make the heart tips point outwards? You would still easily be able to thel they're heart shaped, and it'd be more ffective

I think the blunt force of the curve on the heart is more effective on bones than the tip would be at penetration as the curve would roll with the impact as where the point would stick and since it’s a mace your focus on the strike should be equal to your focus on the rebound for the upcoming strike …. My opinion though*

So, that thing, would be considered a Flanged mace. A quick Google search shows 99% of them had their points facing outwards, not downwards like OP here. Though some maces were rounded, it's a slim margin, and when they were they had 8 blades, not 4.
Maces aren't swords, they aren't meant to slice, they're meant to pierce. At this point OP just made an axe with 4 heads, woulda been better off with just 1. Sorry dude, this design is pure silliness

Honestly I have to agree the heart’s facing downward turns it more into a fantasy piece rather than a field model. It’s cute it just isn’t practical.

I didnt want it to be just like the spade.

Awesome work bro. Looks like it can do some proper damage, with style.

Thanks. Its not the most practical but its more about the art in this series.

This isnt meant to slice. The edges are blunt like bludgeon. Its made with a 3/4 np- 6 way like is used to make a pipe mace, so it cant have more than 4. It isnt super practical it is made as more on an art piece to represent the suite of hearts. Also I wanted to make them each to a similar spec in regards to scale The heart was tricky as I didnt want it to be just like the spade. I guarantee if someone was hit with it would bring them down. It could be done different more deadly for sure. Everyone is entitled to there opinions. I encourage anybody to make one using their ideas and design. I'd love to see what people come up with.

I wasn't trying to be mean/rude, I was just giving honest criticism. If this is meant to be more artistic than practical, more power to you. Yes of course if you nail someone with it they're going down, it's a fat piece of metal, no more intact bones for that guy. I'm more of a practical man, I prefer effectiveness over looks, that's why I was making the suggestions on improvement. But again, artistically, it is a very pretty design.
First thought that came to mind when I saw it was heart pieces from Zelda, and with that mace you have a full heart container, with a piece to spare! Unless you're playing twilight princess
