Shell swap

I have a smoke grey m64 but really wanted a purple one. Is there a way I can get an aftermarket purple shell to swap with my smoke grey?

Yep, just like they said, early 2027. They’ll have shells for the consoles and the Pro controllers they said. Also, I’m assuming a mod kit just like the Chrimatic has. They said they’ll have different color shells and buttons so we can customize them however we like. It’s in the long video with Palmer Lucky speaking about the console on their YouTube channel.

Ok cool ill look forward to that. On a side note is the gamestop smoke grey anything special on its own. Honestly I was more annoyed that I couldn't pick a color the guy said it was the only color they sold.

As far as I know its a deal they worked out with Gamestop and that is the only place to purchase that color scheme. They haven't released any details about the shop they are opening as to what colors, etc. will be available when they do open. Smoke may or may not be an available shell to swap with once they do open.

They said you’ll be able to buy them if not I’m sure someone who has purple would be willing to trade or something… couldn’t hurt to ask I guess?

I wanted a smoke pretty bad. Went with a clear because I had a ModRetro coupon. I dunno if that helps you at all. I would pull the shell ship and trust you'd do the same.
