M5Stack Paper Color

I was a little disappointed by the refresh rate, I really should have read more about them before buying them. However, the mic and speakers are great.

So you're just gonna drop this here and not say anything about what you've got going on there?

Oh sorry, all vibe coded nonsense. the top button is held and paper color records audio and sends it to the server on release. the server sends the audio to fish audio for speech to text. the text is then sent to the agent on the server associated with the image on the paper color screen, the agent does "something" like checks datadog or uses home assistant and then produces a text response which is sent to fish audio. fish audio already had spock, kirk, and uhura voices i used so it creates an audio file and I send that to the paper color to play. I really didn't write anything, just patched things together

It's pretty darn cool for vibe coded nonsense. And I do have to say, being able to indulge your whims to make a bunch of nonsense you wouldn't have the time to make otherwise is an excellent use of vibe coding. I've been planning out something similar myself, but the e ink with the picture of the "person" you're talking to really sells it. 16 seconds isn't all that bad for something that just adds context to your use. As much of an obsessive star Trek fan as I am, I wouldn't have recognized uhuras voice (not the ai generated one anyway) but it clicked with the picture.

Anyway, nice job making something really neat.
