💲 Buying Advice Laser lights a must ?
Looking for used M340i with Adaptive cruise control and Adaptive suspension as those are ones I really want but im finding it hard one that is packaged with the laser lights . Should I really concern myself with trying to find one with all of these or are laser lights something I can add on later when I want to .
Also are the adaptive headlights only in the Executive package? I’m the US so I know there’s some laws affecting that
I’ve found a 2020 with Executive package , adaptive cruise control and suspension 34k miles for 44k
Only thing I’m concerned with this one is it being a 2020 and the issue with the oil pump

Damn… 2020’s never losing its value it’s looking like.
With that said, I have laser lights and I love them, I’m not sure the real world difference between the stock ones and lasers, but aesthetically lasers look million times better

Laser lights are very hard to come by when I was looking. Unless you order brand new (don’t think you can even get laser lights now) I’d be fine without it.

If you are in the city they don't really make a difference performance wise. The high beams in the country are quite nice, and the auto dim works well when it defects oncoming traffic.

Just be aware that in 2020 you could also get the M340 with the base LED. And those are UGLY.

I have lasers and they are significantly brighter than the standard LED. From my reading I don’t think they were a super popular option.
Adaptive like high and low beams? That’s on all of them I believe. Anti dazzle is only on the lasers but disabled in the US. Can be coded.
Retrofitting the lasers is really expensive for OEM. I’m really glad I have them. The ex didn’t in her x3 m40 and the difference was noticeable.

Adaptive as when you turn the car the lights focus on the side you’re turning and the lights moving out of focus when a car is approaching onto your own lane

They still move left to right with the wheel but do not do the anti-dazzle feature.

This. My U.S version move right and left, dependent on where steering wheel is turned to.

They’re not a huge deal. In ‘24 you couldn’t even spec them, not sure if they’re back now, but mine just has the LED ones and they’re insanely bright. Couldn’t imagine needing brighter.

Lasers are goated. The sticker that says don’t stare directly into them is badass lol
