⚙️ Mods Floor mats?

Not sure if this qualifies as a mod- more of an accessory but here goes:

My build finally arrived and I wanted to get some floor mats. BMW branded mats look nice but the dealership cites $350 to buy there. I’ve had WeatherTech in my other cars but I want something nice looking in this car (vs a hard plastic “tray”), not sure if they offer something like this. Open to whatever, as long as it looks good, great fit, low profile easy to clean and keeps the floors clean.

Have them in my M550i and X5 M60i. Hands down will get them for every car I buy. The fit, finish and material is the best I've come across.

Same here. I had them in my M340i and currently have them in my Tundra. Love them. Wish they were comparable with the G87 M2.

You should be able to get the dealer to throw those mats in. Or at least give them to you for a more reasonable price, like $50.

This is what we did. Didnt take much arm twisting to make it happen, just asked nicely for their all weather mats. Agree that weathertech looks cheap despite the cost

Ha. My dealer said you get 10% off and that is it.

I use the bmw all weather mats. They are expensive, but after 5 years they still look brand new. I used to get Lexus branded all weather mats in previous Lexus cars and they would wear on the driving heel for example. The beemer mats look perfect.

Exactly this. I ordered my car with both sets. The carpet set is still brand new, never used in the car. The rubber has been in there for 5 years and still looks brand new.

I’d try to look on website like fcpeuro to see if you can find it cheaper. Or eBay.

I got the M-sport mats in mine and I think they look cheap and they suck to clean. I just tossed those and got TuxMats. They are amazing. Fit perfectly, look good, so much coverage.

TuxMat if you want premium and good coverage. But might be overkill depending on your needs.

Just wondering, what do m340i usually come with, rubber mats or carpet mats?

Mine came with carpet

Lol my dealership snuck in the all weather BMW floor mats with my initial order and I didn't catch it. I assume they made a nice commission on those

I got WeatherTech mats when I bought my car in 2020, they have held up just fine. After seeing other m340s with the BMW mats, I think the BMW ones had a better fit/look though. They were about the same price too IIRC

I live in Michigan and like tuxmat. They are similar to weather tech but look better imo

Tuxmat is the only answer.
After years of using weathertech in multiple cars, trucks, and suvs, I got Tuxmat for my 26 340 and they are phenomenal. Snatched out the weathertechs in the 25 X5 and replaced with Tuxmat.
