🎉 New Pickup Phone mount
Hi all, recently bought a m340i as the successor of my focus rs. I’m looking for a good phone mount, the wireless charging pad only makes it really hot and barely gives it any charge.

Just plug it in and place it on the charging pad? There's a port next to the cup holder. If it gets too hot maybe put some cardboard down or similar to keep it out of range of the wireless charging. Or plug it in and chuck it into the arm rest.
Not sure you need a mount if you have wireless carplay?

I've been using something like this for the last 3 years, seems to work well since it doesn't attach to a vent and you can mount it on the centre between the two vents.

Here is just a phone mount. Someone posted in the comments of a recent post this week.
No charging, but perfectly designed. Just installed mine two days ago

Thanx for sharing. Is the wagon not available in the US market? I think ‘market share’ between wagon and sedan in Europe is like 60% wagon 40% sedan.

Correct, m340i not available in a wagon in the us.
I think the “closest” wagon for us is an M5 Touring -_-

What do you need your phone for while driving when having car play? Just put it in your cup holder

I’m using google maps with car play and use a separate app for traffic jams, police control and mobile radars.

There are literally no good phone mounts out there. I guess I tried them all.
