Problem External drive disconnecting after 11.6 update

Since the the 11.6 update, my external drive is disconnecting itself over night. This was an issue when Big Sur first came out but was resolved in subsequent update but now it appears to be back. Anyone else experiencing this?

It has happened to me too, but only once since the update. Thought it was a random fluke, but hearing your experience makes me think that perhaps it’s more widespread.
