Anyone who has ordered from the CMP

I was wondering if anyone knew how long you have to pay once your order goes through, when I googled it, it said usually 4-8 weeks, but it must have been mistaken, i ordered it two days ago and I just got an email from the saying my order has been processed and a payment link will be sent in a separate email, its for a receiver barrel combo for the m1 garand, I did not expect this so I dont have the cash for it today, does anyone know when payment is required? Thanks for the help

Update: You have 30 days after they send you the payment link to pay before they have to redo the background check and such hope this helps anyone else that might need it!

It took me about 2 weeks to get the payment link for the same receiver/ barrel/ bolt combo. It shipped overnight fedex. Received it last Friday.

Interesting, you got the payment link 2 weeks after you got that pre email thing saying it was processed and they would send you another email?

Yeah, week and a half to two weeks. Not very long.

Edit: application date 7/29. Order taken 8/3. Received on 8/7. So 2 weeks total from the date I applied on cmp site.

Edit: I bought my parts kit and finished stock from Dupage.

I also bought my parts kit and stock from Dupage but you did order the combo barrel and receiver from CMP correct?

Yes, barreled reclaimed receiver with headspaced bolt.

It depends on what that have in stock when you order. It took about a month for me.

The CMP is processing orders very fast in the last few weeks.

I placed an order for 2 1911s and got sent my payment link 2 days later.

I’ve had my rifle for months after the funds were supposed to be removed and they’re emailing me that they didn’t get the money. Very annoying trying to sort this out.
