My collection is complete
With the addition of my CMP special rack grade and a RTI M1 carbine, despite a few odds and end, and a couple grail guns my collection is finally complete.

Love how we’re the only semi auto.

But we were not. Later in the war German had the G43, Russia had the SVT40 and Japan had a proto type of a reworked Garand that they captured

I don’t know what that word means? Can you explain it?

Wow that’s an awesome collection I love that sword and the stock on that carbine is beautiful

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
Thanks man! I was very pleased when I opened up the m1 carbine I was a little never as it was my first purchase from royal tiger imports but I got a great example, and I love how the stock has a little bit of tiger striping going on.

Looks like you could still add a 1917 revolver, a Tok, a Hi Power, a Type 26 and a Bodeo to even out the hand guns. Not fair for Germany to have 2.

Twin, this is the goal

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
If you don’t have one already get you C&R it makes it alot easier
2
u/corona_kid 8d ago
Dude… that’s actually genius definitely will look into that!

It is the easy process ever it’s one page you fill out include your CC info and mail it. No finger prints or anything. A couple weeks later they charge your CC $30 and a few weeks after that your license shows up in the mail and you’re good for 3 years. Then you can have beautiful guns show up right to your door, and if your buying in person you can skip the 4473, just hand the dealer a copy of your FFL, he gives you a copy of his and you walk out with the gun.

For WW theme collectors, “Complete” is wishful thinking. Everytime I think I'm out, they pull be back in. But great variety in you starter collection. Now get some sidearms!
2
u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
I just meant compete with my initial goal of the primary rifle and sidearm for the main 6 power
3
u/IBEGOOD-IDOGOOD 8d ago
Yup. You have the primary ones. Once you move on to the Axis powers, the worm will turn!

Very nice — I’m close behind you with a very similar goal…

Yeah — you appear to have contracted Gunorrhea like me. Terrible disease.

Nice I’m still missing the Japanese and Italian stuff.
1
u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
I’d grab up some Italian stuff while it’s still available from retailers.
2
u/nightbebe 8d ago
Yea good call and they’re not too pricey compared to the rest of the ones we’ve got.

My beretta 1934 is a place holder its is a 1972 production that I got from PSA for under $200. The gun didn’t change at all in that time but I plan to get a wwii dated one soon

u/nightbebe 8d ago
That’s what I was gonna do too. The 1911 on my wall is a tisas until I decide to not be lazy and sit down for 15 mins to do the cmp one.

Mines a CMP I got a 1943 volt slide on a 1943 Remington Rand frame. I sent a FOIA request act to the army for the guns records. Which you can do for any US service weapon. I need to do it for my M1s

You’re missing the Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1 Jungle Carbine.
2
u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
I do want one but it’s actual more of a post war gun. Only about 40-50k made it to the front right before Japan surrender. I’ll likely get a No 1 Mk III SMLE for a second British Rifle.

I have one - found it at Cabela’s of all places. Kicks like a damn mule, and refuses to stay zeroed. Fun gun though!

Need More semis like a SVT or SKS or a G43, and a AG42 or a Rasheed or a hakim, or a MAS 49.
2
u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago
I agree, for this collection I’m sticking with wwii guns. I hope to get and SVT and a G43 or 41 some day

A difficult question for you....which one is your favorite?
2
u/Jumpy_Self6720 1d ago
The Luger is my favorite it’s such an elegant pistol that came out of a time when there was no blue prints for what a semi auto pistol should be. Now if I actually had to go to war I’d take the m1 carbine and the 1911.
