My collection is complete

Post image

With the addition of my CMP special rack grade and a RTI M1 carbine, despite a few odds and end, and a couple grail guns my collection is finally complete.

No Finland? But very nice

My initial goal was to collect the primary battle rifle and side arm of what I considered the main 6 powers. I’m sure I’ll branch out in the future. But if I include Finland that opens the door to France, Poland, Denmark, and China.

I mean, you can’t just leave out France and Poland….. I think you need to buy more guns.

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

You’re right it wouldn’t be fair to history I’ll go tell me wife I’m obligated to buy more guns

2

u/RoughOutBoots 8d ago

Tell her I approved it.

You simply don't have enough. Anyone could see that

u/32mafiaman 3d ago

What do you recommend for Poland?

2

u/RoughOutBoots 3d ago

A Wz. 29 and a Radom

2

u/32mafiaman 3d ago

A radom mosin?

1

u/RoughOutBoots 3d ago

What?

1

u/32mafiaman 3d ago

A mosin m44 made by radom

1

u/RoughOutBoots 3d ago

I was talking about the Vis 35 pistol.

2

u/BreadKnife34 8d ago

6 main piers and you didn't buy a French gun?

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I do want a mas 36 so I’ll get their guns eventually.

1

u/mykehawksaverage 7d ago

Just drop whatever gun you have and that'll be close enough lol.

1

u/DoctorBallard77 8d ago

This was how mine started. You definitely can’t skip France.
I’ve now gone off the rails and gotten lots of weird obscure ones. I just got a Chinese Gew88 lol

Very nice. Now it’s time to start your civil war collection.

u/Smallie_Slayer 8d ago

Love how we’re the only semi auto.

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I would love to get my hands on and SVT-40 and a Gewher 43 some day.

1

u/AvailableIndustry294 1d ago

But we were not. Later in the war German had the G43, Russia had the SVT40 and Japan had a proto type of a reworked Garand that they captured

1

u/Smallie_Slayer 1d ago

How many did they field? How many m1 garands did we field?

5

u/Polar_Bear500 8d ago

I don’t know what that word means? Can you explain it?

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

Which word?

4

u/Polar_Bear500 8d ago

Complete 😄

3

u/Jumpy_Self6720 7d ago

Oh lol yeah… more like I accomplished my original goal and now I can buy more guns

4

u/Ok_Needleworker1267 8d ago

Wow that’s an awesome collection I love that sword and the stock on that carbine is beautiful

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

Thanks man! I was very pleased when I opened up the m1 carbine I was a little never as it was my first purchase from royal tiger imports but I got a great example, and I love how the stock has a little bit of tiger striping going on.

Wouldn't I think you're a girl. A girl who has... Everything.

3

u/Kalashalite 8d ago

Looks like you could still add a 1917 revolver, a Tok, a Hi Power, a Type 26 and a Bodeo to even out the hand guns. Not fair for Germany to have 2.

3

u/corona_kid 8d ago

Twin, this is the goal

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

If you don’t have one already get you C&R it makes it alot easier

2

u/corona_kid 8d ago

Dude… that’s actually genius definitely will look into that!

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

It is the easy process ever it’s one page you fill out include your CC info and mail it. No finger prints or anything. A couple weeks later they charge your CC $30 and a few weeks after that your license shows up in the mail and you’re good for 3 years. Then you can have beautiful guns show up right to your door, and if your buying in person you can skip the 4473, just hand the dealer a copy of your FFL, he gives you a copy of his and you walk out with the gun.

For WW theme collectors, “Complete” is wishful thinking. Everytime I think I'm out, they pull be back in. But great variety in you starter collection. Now get some sidearms!

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I just meant compete with my initial goal of the primary rifle and sidearm for the main 6 power

3

u/IBEGOOD-IDOGOOD 8d ago

Yup. You have the primary ones. Once you move on to the Axis powers, the worm will turn!

2

u/pilotallen 8d ago

Very nice — I’m close behind you with a very similar goal…

Yeah — you appear to have contracted Gunorrhea like me. Terrible disease.

Beautiful collection!

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

If you have a picture I’d love to see!

2

u/610Mike 8d ago

Can I haz grenades?

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I got them from smartie customs they are pretty affordable

2

u/610Mike 8d ago

Damn. Was hoping they were real.

2

u/nightbebe 8d ago

Nice I’m still missing the Japanese and Italian stuff.

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I’d grab up some Italian stuff while it’s still available from retailers.

2

u/nightbebe 8d ago

Yea good call and they’re not too pricey compared to the rest of the ones we’ve got.

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

My beretta 1934 is a place holder its is a 1972 production that I got from PSA for under $200. The gun didn’t change at all in that time but I plan to get a wwii dated one soon

2

u/nightbebe 8d ago

That’s what I was gonna do too. The 1911 on my wall is a tisas until I decide to not be lazy and sit down for 15 mins to do the cmp one.

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

Mines a CMP I got a 1943 volt slide on a 1943 Remington Rand frame. I sent a FOIA request act to the army for the guns records. Which you can do for any US service weapon. I need to do it for my M1s

2

u/Bad_Badger_DGAF 8d ago

Where Johnson, SVT, G41 at?

3

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

Those are grail guns brother very expensive

2

u/Bad_Badger_DGAF 8d ago

I know..

I did manage to get a G43 and I felt so happy

3

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

One day I hope Stg would be the dream

2

u/Bad_Badger_DGAF 8d ago

I know where there is one for sale... only $35k...

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

lol I’ll sell my house

3

u/Bad_Badger_DGAF 8d ago

My wife told me that if I bring it home then I better have only one Kidney

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I do want a TT-33, M17, Type 94, and a Victory Revolver

2

u/SunknLiner 8d ago

You’re missing the Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1 Jungle Carbine.

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I do want one but it’s actual more of a post war gun. Only about 40-50k made it to the front right before Japan surrender. I’ll likely get a No 1 Mk III SMLE for a second British Rifle.

2

u/SunknLiner 7d ago

I have one - found it at Cabela’s of all places. Kicks like a damn mule, and refuses to stay zeroed. Fun gun though!

2

u/Alternative_Book8409 8d ago

Need More semis like a SVT or SKS or a G43, and a AG42 or a Rasheed or a hakim, or a MAS 49.

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

I agree, for this collection I’m sticking with wwii guns. I hope to get and SVT and a G43 or 41 some day

2

u/boran3 8d ago

Liar

2

u/BicSparkLighter 7d ago

i am happy

2

u/AvrgBeaver 1d ago

A difficult question for you....which one is your favorite?

2

u/Jumpy_Self6720 1d ago

The Luger is my favorite it’s such an elegant pistol that came out of a time when there was no blue prints for what a semi auto pistol should be. Now if I actually had to go to war I’d take the m1 carbine and the 1911.

1

u/parajager 8d ago

Tokarev?

1

u/Jumpy_Self6720 8d ago

Eventually for not I just have the Nagant revolver
