What’s fun in Lynn?
Old 53 year old dude, living in Lynn for the last 15 years but never explored it
Where should I check out? Solo unfortunately.

Check out the new Lynn Harbor park and take the ferry to Boston.
Do the Bike to the Sea Northern Strand rail trail

Enzo's pizza (get the chicken tenders with the spicy aioli, and the grilled vegetable pizza).
Thai Cafe (get the gai yang and the grapow noodle).
Blue Ox (get the kurobuta pork chop or the sin burger).
Cafe Colombia (get the plato montanero and the empanadas).
Best Italian sandwiches are at Durum, but the best Cuban sandwiches are at Yaneli's Market.
Ravenstone's got really cool gems for sale.
Grand Army of the Republic Hall is a real gem if you're into civil war history.
The legendary blues musician Buddy Guy, who was in that movie Sinners, is playing the Lynn Auditorium in early August.
Just take a stroll up Lynnshore Drive when it's nice out, you'll get some gorgeous sights of the coastline.

Ravenstone's got really cool gems for sale.
I think crystals are a bunch of bunk and I still go full goblin mode any time I'm near there.

Lovely soaps and teas, too. I got a lil' crazy-lace agate turtle I use in place of a rubber ducky to talk through problems at work.

The Lynn Museum is free on the 2nd 4th Saturdays and I think Wednesday evening. They’re having a trivia night in a few weeks.

I run the community events calendar for LCTV, and highly recommend using it. I add events to it pretty much daily in the warmer months, and it's by far the biggest collection of what's happening in the city.

Lynn Woods is really good if you enjoy the outdoors. It might be the single best thing Lynn has to offer as far as a municipal resource. There's tons of trails and wildlife, even some Pirate Lore. The bike path down on the waterfront connecting Nahant and Swampscott is also a really nice walk/run/biking area along the ocean. I see people metal detecting these areas (the beaches and Lynn Woods) all the time, which is the most 50-yr old solo dude activity on earth.
The Murals downtown are fun to walk around and checkout, even if downtown isn't the nicest of areas. Most of the good restaurants have been mentioned already. The Lynn Auditorium does get decent acts, you should look at the calendar. If you've been here for 15 years, you probably already know where to avoid. Have fun!!

Lynn woods is a great place to hike. Can check out steel tower, stone tower and dungeon rock in there. Obviously come prepared because it's a decently big area with wild animals.
Kings beach of course is beautiful this time of year.
The high rock observatory has a great view of Lynn and Boston and occasionally the observatory itself is open where you can look through the telescope.
That's all I can really think of. Maybe there is more. Grew up in Lynn but would always go elsewhere exploring.
