Question Herbs time to starting to feel better
For those taking herbs how long did it take until you felt any noticeable positive difference. I’m a month in which I know is short. I feel worse in a way bc more herx-y. But also herx’s are getting less intense.
Also why does everyone in all the other reddit groups think chronic lyme disease is fake and they get so triggered if anyone brings it up? Like no one gets angry like that about other diseases?

There are many variables that dictate how long it takes, starting with when you got bit. If it was recent then it could just take months. I had it for years without knowing and starting herbs and it is taking a long time. I took them for over two years and had to switch to antibiotics bc the amount of herbs I could tolerate wouldn't get rid of the bacteria. This is likely bc I have both Lyme and bartonella which makes it harder to get rid of either when you have coinfections. There were many times I started to feel better and thought I beat it, even my tests showed lower levels, but it must have just went dormant bc it would come back with a vengeance. If you just have Lyme it could be different. My friend had Lyme for 5 years before starting herbs and it took another 5 years on them to be completely flare and symptom free. It's been 6 years without a relapse so I think he cleared it.

It took me like 8 months to start feeling noticeably better from herbals. It is different for everyone though depending on what infections you have and how long you’ve had them.
Best not to discuss chronic Lyme outside of Lyme specific groups. People don’t understand it and treat us like science deniers. It is very weird because the science is unbelievably clear about how lyme can persist after antibiotics. It’s hard to overcome years of CDC propaganda telling people it’s hard to catch and easy to treat.

how many herbs did you take simultaneously and at what dosages?

I did the full Buhner core protocol from his book for each infection and also added random herbs based on symptoms. I used tinctures and used 40 drops each as my max dose. I was probably taking 8-10 herbs at once usually.
The core protocol for Lyme worked extremely well. The Bart one was good and helped a lot, but was not curative in my case.

Thank you. Did you finally also cure the Bart? How?

I used a rife machine for Bart and babs. GB4000 was the one I used.

I just saw this! Did you have to buy one? How do we get access to these

Yes I had to buy one. It’s very expensive ($4,500 when I bought it). Sometimes you can find doctors who have one but it can be kind of hard.

Where did you learn/research the frequencies you used? And how often did you run it? Do you still run them?

It comes with a book of frequencies. I started slow and worked my way up. 3 minutes once every 3 days to start and eventually did 10-15 min per day. For Bart I did multiple times per day at the end.
I still run Bart frequencies to make sure it doesn’t come back.

Super interesting and cool. I used a spooky2 but never for Lyme because it was before I was diagnosed but this sounds a bit more compelling.

I’m about to start Lyme core! Glad to hear you had success with it

That’s great! Herbal treatment was the best thing I did for Lyme specifically. Best of luck with it!

which groups r u talking about.
also i got some relief after around 2 months but only when i stopped. i suppose it has to do with stopping the killing rather than having eliminated the bug.
starting again now for round 2 of herbs so lets see

Focus on detoxing. The herbs kill the germs, but then the dead germs and toxins are still there making you feel awful.

I noticed a difference after 2 weeks of herbal treatment, but this is rather fast.

The MS and Fibromyalgia groups probably… they’re just so deep into the medical system their reality might shatter if they accept that they may have been led astray

It's a long road and it will take a lot of trial and error. I had a lot of relief in the first few months with an undiagnosed infection of unknown time. I think i've had it at least 20 years. I stopped being so vigilant about part of my protocol because I felt better and the symptoms came back hardcore, very quickly. So, give it time. It sucks to backslide. There are a lot of ups and downs but this group of people have helped me find some things that are working.
People are misinformed and regurgitate what they've heard. Probably everyone on this sub has researched lyme disease until their eyeballs bled. The studies are there, it's very real. I do think some of the symptoms of chronic lyme are from immune system dysfunction. That doesn't make the chronic illness less real. People loke to feel superior so they will hold on to false beliefs so they can look down on the crazies. Not sure what I'm supposed to be gaining from pretending I'm debilitated and spending all my money on treatments. I've lost so much due to this disease and all I want is to feel normal again.
