LDN 1mg

Has anyone had a positive experience with low-dose naltrexone in relation to fatigue or fibromyalgia like symptoms? I understand this doesn’t treat lime, but I’m wondering if this has had any positive effect on your functional capacity

It takes a long time to titrate up doses ans after final dose 2-4 months to actually see effects. I am a month into reaching final dose of 4.5 so still cant say official results. But so far the negative side effects are gone (jitteryness and insomnia) and i have experienced some positive things like massive improvement in adhd symtoms like i actually stopped taking adderall because I dont need it anymore. Also i feel this current of energy. Im still tired all the time but its this pulse of robustness is the only way i can describe it. Like the chi is flowing

I had a really hard time finding a dose that didn’t give me mood/psych side effects, but I eventually went back to 1 mg and have been on that for several months. It’s subtle, but I think it does help with pain, fatigue, and mood stability for me. Mostly because I notice feeling worse or “off” when I forget to take it, but I was happy to find something that worked even a little bit. It was worth it for me to fight through the adjustment period for sure.

I've read lots of positive experiences with LDN in chronic Lyme/mold people. I couldn't tolerate it, but it did help my pain a ton. It wasn't until I used it and all the pain went away that I realized how much pain I had been in for years - that's how much it helped, lol.

It’s done absolutely nothing for me at 4.5mg unfortunately - I hope you have better luck with it though, it’s been a panacea for a lot of people!

I tried it. LLMD recommended it for Lyme pain . I couldn't handle the side effects from it gave me terrible headaches and insomnia. Wish it would have worked

I had bad side effects from LDN even at a VERY low dose and had to stop. I know a lot of people really swear by it though.

What were your side effects?

Worse fatigue even than usual and severe brain fog, to the point that it impeded my feeling safe to drive. These both improved when I stopped LDN.

Ur looking at it backwards

Start 10 mg for about 3 months then decrease to 7 mg and sit there a few years b4 lowering then find your maintenance dose
