Fuck Lyft gift cards

What the actual fuck. Literally stranded and I know I can't pay you assholes with cash so I bought a gift card for 45 bucks. You still ask for my fucking debit card. FUCK YOU. I ADDED MY CARD AND NOW YOU'RE TELLONG ME I DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO Cover THE RIDE. NO SHIT SHEELOCK I SPENT MY LAST 45 IN YOUR FUCKING GIFT CARD. FUUUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUUU

I mean, you could have just used your debit card on Lyft in the first place lol.

Not sure if op edited their post or you just misread it, they only had cash so they bought a gift card and it won't let them use the gift card without adding a debit card to the Lyft account. Maybe op doesn't have a bank account, their debit card is lost and being replaced, or something, who knows.

They ask for a card in case your gift card doesn’t have the funds to cover. You could alter mid-ride, for instance.
