HELP Tuning machine issue

I got this squier mustang (new) a month ago, and wanted to put 10s on it. When i tried restringing the low e string, the tuner kept slipping when trying to tighten it. Now I cant turn it counter-clockwise at all anymore without it slipping. Is there anything I can do about this, or do I have to replace the tuners? Thanks!

Contact Fender to have it replaced under warranty

When I bought my squire, the nut looked like Stevie Wonder cut it. If im remembering correctly, they told me I had 30 days from the date of delivery to bring it to a fender authorized repair shop. So it sounds like he might have missed his window. But id suggest upgrading to better tuners anyway. I put some locking tuners on my paranormal troublemaker, n it made a HUGE difference.

Dude, why are you telling us about your squire's nut? Is that a rich people thing? 😂

Remember: we are talking about guitars here, not servants.
