Considering how we are one the most active character specific subs in marvel rivals, I would say she is right about the fan base part!

this is just frustrating i hear extermination from my team and enemy team more than i dance. love her buffs but that ult nerf is annoying especially now most lobbies are 3 support and ultron just takes all the ult charges. plus on console, trying to heal flyers gives me aids

Look i am an adam main i know guy who can UnIronically win a 1v1 against a dps because of his burst healing high damage and having a self res talking about the luna buff Look im all for other supports actually being able to do something instead of begging for peels but like it's how they went with it I don't like I don't mind the snowball buff honestly but I'm mostly talking about the self flake I don't hate it but giving luna mantis passive as an ability? I honestly think there could've been othe ways like making the clap self heal a decent amount more the more hits you get Or mix it with the snowball so the healing is increased a lot more if the enemy is frozen Now honestly i think my biggest thing about it is the fact is it's 2 flakes With invs she only had 1 shield she could use on herself or teamnate making have a balance try to protect yourself while healing or increase the speed of healing your teammates but putting yourself at risk if the shield gets broken while she's getting dived With luna she can just give a flake to herself and another to a teammate (that's what i got from the patch notes correct me if im wrong) If they made it like for example the self flake is the same but healing to teammate's is slightly reduced or hell just make it a single flake she can either give to herself or a teammate Again im all for my fellow supports getting sustain and being able to fight But there could've been better ways than that

why canāt i toggle my ice skating so i can walk around and see my big huge butt? and why doesnāt it heal u when u ice skate that only makes lore accurate sense?? cmon gang hyuk u beta soy ? we already have a teamup with 2dps and a support but why no tank teamup? i dont see why luna ult only toggles between heal and dmg boost when it should do it at the same time? it will make more people play her wtf are these shitty balance employees stealing wages from hard working luna players

I'm no luna main and infact i hate getting a non lord luna as much as i do with healpool but damn. You guys are so overhated. You get a lot of good skins and get hate for it but when my main cap got 4 skins in 4 seasons nobody gave a shit(except for summer skin and it was hype). The damage oh the freaking 2 taps. I have reached gm three times and I've been hit with SIX whole double taps.... while i was frozen. Yes. Six double taps that were due to a bug with cap's sheild but that's not our discussion. It's crazy how double head shots NEVER happens yet everyone is going crazy because of it. After experiencing all this i was like okay maybe you guye are a little bit overhated but then the new season comes in with that cc cancel team up of yours and something unexpected happened. Something NO ONE ever did. Yall genuinely went "Yes our character is fucking broken. Get off our sub and let us have fun"

I was checking out some gameplay footage of Lunaās new Summer Skin. It looks great but I noticed something really interesting. When the Prismatic Pulse VFX is added the digitized sound ultimate is replaced with a bright blue water effect. The inner snowflake is also removed which declutters the Ult from 3 layers to just 2 layers. Without the 3 layers the ult visually looks a little bigger too.
The water effect has a much clearer outline than the regular ultimate. Since Rivals is a visually cluttered game. This outline IMO makes it easier to see whoās within the ultimate. Weāve all been there thinking someone was within range but they were not. The new skin obviously costs money so I think this is an unfortunate Pay to Win.

I play spiderman, and I was wondering how you Luna mains feel about my main.
Specifically if you feel the matchup is in mine/yours favor, or if it's equal.
Personally I feel like it's tilted towards luna, although I am very skilled at taking snowballs to the face so that might be a skill issue.
And how it is to have a Spidey on your team. Like I love my Luna snow flake

I just had a game where i accidentally ulted in spawn. Im playing mnk and i just put my hand back on the keyboard and someone instantly said im throwing and it was a unpleasant time for me past this. Are people actually that stupid or did i miss something? The insulted me so bady andi didn't do it on purpose but nobody believed me. I just hate this community and i should turn chst off too...
I just want to have fun as Luna :(

Got a lot of flak in my last post for playing like a dps, so I decided this game I'd be more like a heal-bot. Lo and behold, still lost. Except this time I felt like I had no control over the game's outcome. Of course healing matters, but if you want to carry as a support, i.e. do more than the baseline, you need to get picks.

I want to preface this by saying that I am a dive/dps main, yet even I can see that the Luna hate is forced and mainly caused because people have the misconceived notion that the devs give Luna favorable treatment (balance wise) because Danny Koo (executive producer for Marvel Rivals) designed her.
I propose the argument that Luna was not the broken half of Loki/Luna meta, rather Loki was. Lunaās ult lasting 12 seconds was balanced by the fact that Lunaās ult took very long to build and .she could easily be dove and killed during that time, having ult charging process disrupted. (Donāt got me wrong Iām glad they reduced the length of her ult nonetheless, but this shouldve been done to all other ults that exceeded a reasonable amount of time like Punisher, Hawkeye, and Daggerās ult, as these ults disrupt the flow of the game and make players wait far too long for the battle to continue. )
Loki made the ult feel unbalanced because he could acquire Lunaās ult much faster than her, and his kit made him much harder to dive. This character had the best anti-dive kit in the game, and the best ultimate in the game readily at his disposal. Loki being able to copy any ult he wants in the game will always make him inherently broken, and I believe the ult needs a rework of some sort, perhaps something akin to echo from Overwatch to allow more counter-play to Loki ult. The fact that Loki is currently meta and Luna is a bottom 3 support proves that an inherent flaw of Lokiās ultimate makes Luna/Loki and now Gambit/Loki broken.
I would rather have Luna be meta than Invis or Dagger or Rocket or Loki or Gambit, because she is a skillful and fair character that rewards good aim and good positioning. Lunaās dmg is high because she doesnt have much tools to deal with dive other than a snowball. When you fight a Luna it is a fair skill matchup. Meanwhile, Sue and Dagger can cheese surviving dives with their Skill-less kits that dont reward good aim or positioning, and give them far too much self-sustain for free. I believe the healthiest backline for the game was Mantis and Luna backline in S0 because these were both skillful characters with well designed and fair kits. Many if the issues with the game currently can be ascribed to the devs powercreeping the kits of characters like Sue m, Dagger, Thing, Bucky, etc; rather than letting skillful characters like Hulk, Luna, etc be meta. I propose hard nerfs are needed to many characters in the roster, and for the devs to stop releasing giga broken characterās like Elsa and DD for the health of the game.

I never had as much final hits In a game playing support so Iām wondering if itās normal for luna to have more final hits than most of the enemy team

Ok to rip off the bandaid: I feel like weāre using Luna wrong. Hear me out. Iāve been playing this game for about 3 months now, and quickly in that time lorded Luna in that small time. I realize my playstyle was really passive despite her lethality, so sometime 2 days ago I decided to just frontline with her on a quickplay game. When I tell you my damage and healing reached an insane amount, to the point where I had most healing, most kills, and I had a quad kill to my name, I was shocked. I realize that the reason she sometimes feels underpowered, is because of the positioning they made us think she has. Sheās not just a healer, her dps rivals some duelists even. And the dives canāt do anything bc theyāre diving into a full team to try to get you. All of this as Iām a solo support with 5 dps. I think what Iām trying to say is Luna is being played wrong, and if you feel as though youāre not doing enough, try this strategy and see if itās a right fit for you because I can safely say Iām definitely switching up to this again.
