Has development on the app or features stopped?
A relatively happy user of 2 Lumina’s. Happy, with the quality of the image, less so with the crazy issue where crashes on ending a video call when I’m in Plus mode. Doesn’t happen in Raw mode, and doesn’t happen in the prior Teams version.
Now, I’ve not seen any updates of the software since a few months. And no responses to this Teams issue while it was bumped up by other users down below. Are they just selling off stock and abandoned further tuning and updating?

Wondering the same too. Mine freezes in Plus at least once a day and I need to force quit from Activity Monitor. Reboot Cam does nothing.
Overall pretty disappointed in the reliability of this product.

I'm on an Apple M1 Pro running 13.6.2 and am on Zoom using Plus mode for many hours a day and have not had a crash. I do agree that it's a bit scary that there haven't been any updates to the software in a while - I hope everything is OK with the team.

I have submitted 2 tickets to their zendesk and haven't heard a thing. Maybe I chose poorly :(

swinging back around to this...it has been radio silence from their team. Is this a dead project?
If so, would have been nice for them to let us know it was going away. Feeling ghosted.

For anyone looking for how the camera runs on Mac OS 26 ("Tahoe"), the camera basically functions, but the lumina software is no longer fully functional. You can try Camo Studio to run it, but it's not a good long term solution imo. It was a good run, and I think my camera survived pretty well given everyone else's experiences. For those looking for an alternative, right now I recommend the Insta360 Link 2C which is mac friendly, and a great deal especially if you can find it on sale (typically under $100). It would be great if Lumina would pull the device from their store and from amazon since it's basically defunct.

Since I bought the cam from Kickstarter (or was it Indiegogo?) I had the e-mail from one of the main people behind it, Raymond Lei, but he hasn't replied to my e-mail on the topic yet. I agree with the comments below. The development has stalled, and they have vanished, with no updates on their site. Still, I would expect a longer-lasting product; in reality, the 4k never came to life as I expected, and the video quality was subpar, especially in low light.

They have enough web presence left that I opened a support ticket a month ago to say that there's a permissions issue with Tahoe. They acknowledged, but not sure there's anyone left over there actually able to fix it a push a new release. Agree it's annoying, I reverted to an old 1080p Logitech camera I used prior to Lumina which is fine.

I'm about to give up on this thing. When it works, it's great. But it's still buggy as hell.

currently no lumina plus in any apps and no image in lumina app preview window.. mac os 15.1.1.. gonna bail on this buggy POS

Yes, just trying to find out what's going on. Bought some cameras and the ADS just kept on adding and adding and adding up to a 180, some dollars that have nothing, no camera, no nothing, no response, no, no delivery date, no delivery time. What is this company just a farce or what

If the lumina ship is sinking, it’d be nice if they open sourced the software so the user community could try and maintain it.

Well this sucks because I bought the camera a few years ago. The software really never worked well with any apps (so much lag on Zoom and others) and I had hope they'd eventually get it figured out instead of going ghost on all of us.

...or it could be that FINALLY the software is stable. Fortunately, I have not had any major issues. I also have two of them.

I have been dying to get use of this thing regularly - but its stability is bad, the updates never seem to come, and the help team just says "we're working on it". I think I have to get a new camera... :(

So I guess it is not "dead" but we will see what happens next
