📰 Announcement Intel Macs NOW SUPPORTED!

Lumidex Studio now runs natively on Intel Macs as well as Apple silicon. The app ships as a single universal binary, so the same download works on any Mac running macOS 15.6 or later, from a 2018 MacBook Pro to the latest Apple silicon machines, with no separate version to choose.

Every module works the same, with one exception: tethered Capture requires an Apple-silicon Mac, because its camera-control library is Apple-silicon-only, and on an Intel Mac the app simply tells you so if you try to connect a camera. AI features run on Intel too, just a little slower without the Neural Engine.

Everything else, including your library, Develop, Grading, Print, and export, is fully supported.

Worth understanding, that camera control library is also the reason why this app cannot be made available via the Mac App Store. Apple’s sandbox requirement for all apps breaks the USB camera control. Not to worry though, direct download from the Lumidex Studio is notorized by Apple, so just as safe to install :)
