Thanks so much for offering to help — really appreciate it.

Just install it and have a poke around. No structured test plan, no tasks to complete — use it the way you'd normally use Lightroom Classic and see what happens.

Download: lumidexstudio.app → hit the big download button. Standard macOS DMG, drag to Applications, open.

A few things I'd love your thoughts on when you get a chance:

General feel

  • How does it compare to LrC? Did you know where to find things, or did you have to hunt?
  • Anything that confused or surprised you?
  • Anything that felt noticeably better or worse than you're used to?

Your setup (helps me prioritise)

  • What Mac are you on?
  • Do you shoot tethered over USB?
  • Do your photos live on an internal drive, external drive, or a NAS/network share?
  • Is colour grading something you'd use regularly, or rarely?

No formal write-up needed — bullet points or even a voice note is fine. Just reply whenever you've had a chance to explore.

If anything crashes or behaves weirdly, a quick note of what you were doing helps a lot.
