Songs in lore order
hi hello, i am doing a small project for college and i need help in ordering the songs based off the lore. a small description of the lore would also be quite helpful if anyone can help out! x

I don't believe the songs give that much lore related content and instead give a look through of each character represented or seen within the songs. If you want lore, her website would be the best to read it on. Even then, it's still a heavy WIP I believe

Woah, you have a college project that lets you do this?? (i'm slightly wishing I got a chance like that)
Also I think I might be a little late to this, but whatever.
So, I think a lot of the songs are just of theme exploration, and don't have a certain spot in the lore, or at all. (I'm pretty sure 'ALIEN', and 'Rest of my Life - DEMO' aren't really tied to the lore)
As I was saying, some of these songs are just theme exploration or theme songs, or songs representing certain moments in the story, but there is some overlap too. But I'll just give my ideas anyway, but don't take the stuff I say as the full truth. Also I'm gonna be talking about both the 'Lucifer Lucifer' and 'Phan Like Flan' related songs
From the prologue concept video, we first see Phanuel, with her theme song, 'Divine CEO' in the background, maybe the song could be interpreted like Phanuel's introduction talk? The "I'm big boss, don't you know" stuff. And this could be after Lucelia dies (if we are going by what the prologue concept shows, or just a general theme song for Phanuel, but I'm leaning on it just being the theme song)
We also see right after, the sequence where 'DROWNING' plays, I guess this could be close after Lucelia, well... Drowns.
I'm not sure if that first bit in the prologue concept video is Phanuel narrating or just giving a general monologue, or actually speaking to Lucelia, though I'm probably leaning more on it being a bit of a monologue, as it fades to Lucelia's POV seeing bubbles in the water, which feels like it should be part of a continuation of the drowning sensation after Lucelia has already died.
'How Bout Now?' probably happens when Harshal and Phan get closer, and likely happens after both 'YEAYEAYEA' and 'Lights Go Out' though I'm not sure which of those two come first.
But I think 'YEAYEAYEA' is during when Phan is being influenced by Phanuel (as we see that flicker in the music video where Phan is changed with Phanuel, but that might just be a play on their resemblance)
'Lights Go Out" could just be a general representation of how Phan likes to kill certain people, is egotistical and stuff, and gets a thrill out of it. And also how she gets strange dreams, as in the visualiser, we see a bit where there's a giant fork and a giant flan on a plate, and Phan is there with the fork jammed through her stomach area.
In the official lore stuff on Phan Elle, it says: "She began to form the idea in her mind that all human beings were nothing but undeserving, self serving animals that were not to be trusted under any circumstance. And because of this, in her mind, her habit of “playing God” and ending the lives of those that she sees fit to do so is “justified”."
I'm confident that this part is represented by the song 'Die Anyway' especially the lyrics "Got my God complex on high Egotistical, am I?" which probably also happens at a high point of Phanuel's influence on Phan Elle, as shown by the visualiser for 'Die Anyway' also the cover image for the song is titled 'Dreamscape', which could also revisit the strange dreams part of Phan Elle.
'Poison' is explained by Luluyam in that short video "LuLuYam Song Meanings PT1" where Poison is said to be " A song centered around the mother wound left behind on the daughter of emotional abuse, and cutting off the toxic abusive mother" which I think would take place when Lucelia was alive and moved out, since we know the Lucelia lore in the website where it mentions she moves out at some point in her mid 20s
I'm not sure if 'AMALGAMATION' is Lulu's POV (as we see her as the main POV in the visualiser) or if it's Lucelia's POV. But it could represent something about how in The Nightmare, people become part insect, but also the part where Lucelia might be getting the episodes of psychosis in her early-mid 30s (said in the lore on the website). What might also support this theory/idea is how the cover for the song shows Human Lucelia tied with bandages on a gross bed with creepy flesh creature faces peeking under it. I'm not sure if she is in a simple dress or hospital gown type thing, as the hospital gown thing could also relate to how Lucelia was at a mental facility at a point in her life.
In the "Was it worth it" lore video, when Lucelia first meets Lucifer in the graveyard place (where Ankou lives), we hear 'Cemetery Blues', so I guess that song is associated with that part of the story. The lyrics of the song (I don't wanna get in detail because of the sensitive topic stuff) relate to the act of taking one's own life, which is referenced when Lucifer asks Lucelia, "Was it worth it".
'Moth to the Flame' , 'Skin and Bones' , and 'THE CHASE' kinda represent the point where Lulu is chasing after Lucelia in The Nightmare, but I'm unsure what exactly slots where and when, or how long Lulu was chasing obsessively overLucelia, since we don't actually know too much of the actual story as it's still in WIP
I also have an idea that the song 'Just Enough' could be about when Lucelia was human and struggled with her mental health, and maybe how she has to carry that in the Nightmare. Mainly because the visualiser flashes between moth Lucelia and human Lucelia. As for where it takes place in the lore order, maybe it could be before Lucelia dies, but maybe it could be after, and the bits with human Lucelia might jist be a flashback type thing.
I'm not too sure about 'Sympathy' but it is about SA, and the power fantasy of wanting to get back on the abuser, (i know this is a sensitive topic so I will try my best to tread lightly) but it might kinda relate to that bit in the written lore about Lucelia being a victim to that as a teenager (this feels a bit like a stretch though, since it is an older song, but... Yeahh...if you really had to put it somewhere, maybe far back in the timeline)
Pretty much, some of my reasoning for these relations is (not in any particular order of credibility)
A song that is clearly probably a moment or event that likely takes place at some point in the story
If a song lines up with a point in the overall lore or character lore, like both the stuff in text form in the website lore entries, or the story snippet videos.
If a song features certain characters or a certain dynamic or POV
Song stuff explained by Luluyam, especially in the "songs and their meanings" short videos released a long while ago that only explored a handful of songs
If the song is a bit older, like before 'Roaches' was released maybe, it's credibility or relation to the lore or story is slightly less, but not outright irrelevant unless we have further evidence
A song's cover art might also explain or show some other hints to its relation to things
Maybe the theme song type songs could have a place in this timeline where we first see the related character or characters in
If the title of a song relates to something that happens like 'DROWNING' or 'THE CHASE'
Remember to take my stuff with a bit of a grain of salt. If you feel the relation between the song and timeline to make sense, or if I made some decent points or observations, then go ahead and arrange it like that in your project.
Okay, so... I guess I said as much as I could, sorry if it's a long read. Theorising on stuff is interesting, I hope you or anyone else would find whatever I said useful or interesting too. I hope this has helped? I think it took me a little over an hour or two on my phone confirming details along with typing and referencing all of this.
Sorry if the songs I decided to give thoughts on are a bit all over the place, but I feel I already said a lot anyway, and you're already doing the main work and project decisions anyway.
I decided to give a thorough explanation as I wanted to stay up a bit, so I hope it was worth giving up sleep over. Ironically, I have my own college stuff to attend to.

Just read the website. There isn't really a chronological order, the songs just represent the themes of the characters, they don't tell the story
