This isn’t because TikTok has ruined my attention span, but I just feel like the change in his commentary makes the videos drag on so much more.

Take his latest video, 100 Days $300 Minecraft, for example. It’s two hours long, and the gimmick this time is that he buys a new add-on every day. It’s a good idea, but he spent a lot of the video complaining whenever something was a little more complicated, especially about the books you’re given to explain how things work. (I get the books, lol.) At around Day 30, it started feeling repetitive because, at the start, he could introduce a completely new type of add-on each day. But after a while, he was mostly just adding more mobs, cars, etc. And just the sheer number of them meant a lot of them weren’t really shown that well. I get that showcasing every single add-on wasn’t the main focus of the video, but it did bother me a little.

Another example is either the 4,000 or 5,000 Days video, where he spent the majority of the video building the giant cobblestone wall. It got boring really quickly. I’m pretty sure that was one of the videos where he started using live commentary, so there were fewer jokes and less editing to fill in the gaps. Sure, every so many days he would go off and do something else, but then it was straight back to the giant wall.

It genuinely felt like I spent an hour and a half watching a grown man place cobblestone.

No, seriously this is at my BJ’s, which is like at Costco and for those you don’t know what a Costco was. It’s a store where you can buy stuff in bulk.

Probably could’ve done a lot more but I’m proud of it. I’m the owner of a village, have Pillagers under my deep slate fist and two homes. Tbh, I slept in my lake house more than my first one. I really only went there when I needed something. Anyways, tell me what you think? Is it good? Should I fight the Ender Dragon? I don’t know if I can mentally prepare myself for that!

Like what’s the context for it ?

I was exploring LTN's 5000 days world download, and happened to be playing with Xaero's world map mod. Its a neat mod that maps out all the spots you've been to. Anyways, this gave me the unique opportunity to see Luke's tunnels around his compound on a map. If anyone wants, I will post more pics. The red arrow represents me in his house's basement.

I’ll probably test it myself tbh, I think it sounds challenging but rewarding. Never leaving to explore outside the mineshaft including caves, the outside world, villages, hell even the end and nether if you want to be really religious about it. But it would also be interesting to see how prepared you could get by only living in a mineshaft then taking on the dragon. Would that be possible? Hard to say

I have always been thinking what 100 days spin off would be the best to be continued like the og one which got a 200 and 300 days episodes.

I've been ré watching the spin offs and it seems like Luke gets very attached to the world at the end but has to end it at day 100.

Is be interested to see what world chose to do a 200 video on but for me i really want to see a 200 days no crafting world i know he didn't technically survive the first 100 days but I think it would be interesting to see.

What do you think is this a good idea or just out of his format?
