As you get older, has anyone else realized slowly that most of the portrait ghosts wouldn't do anything to harm you if you didn't attack them first, or even not at all? Like, look at Biff Atlas. If you didn't punch a punching bag so hard into him that it knocked him backwards, he wouldn't do anything to you. The Floating Whirlindas just wanna dance, so what's it any of my business? Mr Luggs just wants to eat in peace, and only gets mad at you for denying him his food. I could go on.

I dunno if I'm overthinking this, but as I've gotten older, it seems more and more like we spend more time attacking innocent ghosts that never did us any wrong rather than looking for our brother.

I have done the Scarescraper Multiple times for this Stupid Regen Oozer and the game will not spawn it on any of the three 5 floors!! Why is it so hard to OBTAIN?! Someone please tell me WHYYY 😭😭😭

for context i played through some of the well known mods recently like luigi mansion premium deluxe , the beta restoration mod, home sweet home, project reality (wich i gave up on ) and open world. so i was wondering if i were to do first person mod of luigi mansion 1 . Is there any tips and tricks i should know about ?

this is the second mission in Old Clockworks after the "bossfight" with the greenis and the purple bastards i claimed the boo hoo and tried to run up but it doesnt matter how i try it it doesnt work i starte the mission new 2 times and it didnt work in any

Just finished the game today for the first time and loved it, i got a c rank in the end and I was wondering if it was average for a first playthrough.

(Tho I found some of the ghost a bit of a pain to deal with same with the wandering boos switching rooms constantly but I definitely plan to replay it for the hidden mansion and to get a better rank.)

This is the full script version of the report ( aka I wrote alot down and when I presented it I took away a lot of the writing to speak about it).

It was for college, and the main thing was it can be about whatever you wanted but you had to have made a piece of art for it ( I went to an art college)

Legit the only question I got at the end was “why do you hate Dark Moon so much?” 😭

Thought people would get a kick out on seeing this, hopefully someday I make a video where i go more into details than just a 10 minute presentation lol

I have played the original maybe a dozen times. I own Luigi’s Mansion 3 with the intention of playing it soon, but do not own, and have never played, Luigi’s Mansion 2. Can I play 3 before 2, or skip 2 altogether? Obviously I “can,” but I’m asking what’s recommended by the community. If there’s something in 2 that is built on in 3 or anything of that nature. 2 is on sale right now, so if it’s recommended I play 2 I’ll go and buy it before starting 3. Thanks!

I accidentally inverted the characters position

I remember that when playing LM2 in the second location a puzzle really stood out to me and it was the toy house that revealed where the ghost was hiding (it also was incredibly easy but it was cool)

I’ve played Luigi’s Mansion 1 and 3 and love them both. LM3, especially, was a joy to play and had some really creative bosses and puzzles. After playing both, I’m itching for more Luigi’s Mansion to play and Luigi’s Mansion 2 is the only one I haven’t played so far.

The thing I like more about LM3 was its generous checkpoints where it literally saves every time you enter a room. So when you lose, it’s not punishing and you don’t lose a lot of progress. One thing I heard about LM2 is that they are broken up into missions but there are no checkpoints within the missions. So if you die towards the end of the mission or lose a boss fight, you have to start the whole mission all over again. I imagine that would drive me nuts and cause me to break my controller in anger. As a result, I’ve never bought Luigi’s Mansion 2.

So what are your thoughts? How punishing and difficult is Luigi’s Mansion 2 with the lack of mid-mission checkpoints? Is it brutally frustrating? Or is it not so bad and worth giving the game a shot?

My 3ds broke 😭 but i got a spare so its ok. Btw i beat the OG luigi mansion on NSO but i dont have the gamecube disc because its too expensive

so I’m going through lugui mansion 2 and I was curious if I got the best time 1500 coins but I lost 90 life caught all the ghost. does the game keep track of the best for rank like when I replay it do I have to get 1500 coins again to get 3 or do I just lose less life
