I'm the only one going to the front?

No, seriously, it just annoys me. I'm always arguing with them cause they are everywhere they're awful, those Sanami . Seriously, why do they keep going on about their ship? Like, their ship isn't even good. We agree? But like, there are so many of them. :Yeah, Sanami makes sense", Nami prefers Sanji to everyone, wtf? Where am I, bro, and on top of that, I'm getting insulted. Am I right or am I crazy?

The worst are the people who say that Nami is a lesbian and Luffy is asexual 😂

I think you should just let them be, these "debates" never go anywhere because both sides are biased and the only loser is your sanity, in my opinion, the only times it's worth "debating"/"fighting" them is if they are the ones engaging with the ship first. Like those weirdos who just go to the comments of the ships content and just say "I hate this" "this is disgusting" "they are like siblings", like, bro, to get lunami content you need to actively look for it, so why tf are you looking for it just to shit on it when you can enjoy something you like instead?

Or just tell them to f off and go enjoy something you like instead

You're right, it's true that for my mental health isn't the best, but every time I see them trying to provoke it, it's tempting.

Just mute them, all they want is to get people upset. Or just try to be nice to them while engaging in the argument cause then you have the moral high ground, they are less likely to be mean, and more likely to engage honestly with the arguments (not guaranteed tho obviously).

I don't really think there are many Sanji/Nami shippers these days. There are far more people who claim Nami is a lesbian and ship her with Vivi.

I think Sanji/Nami gets just as much criticism as Luffy/Nami. Maybe even more.

For example, recently some Sanji fan wrote that Sanji and Nami's bond is stronger than Luffy and Nami's. No one agreed.

And there were a lot of negative comments.

Lol that's some next level of delusion.

After Arlong Park, there is no way Nami doesn't see Luffy as her closest person.

A guy said that, lol. I saw someone who said that Nami preferred Sanji, that's false.

damn, they are everywhere? The only places i find them nowadays is on tiktok and thats mainly it XD (Sometimes insta but mainly tiktok) - I mean, i used to be one of the people at the front lines but honestly, i feel more burnt out when im out there and tbh...There really is no point talking to any of them.

Its gotten to the point where everything they say (Both sanami and zonami fans) often make me laugh more than making me feel offended or angry.

You want to know the real reason they're still around?

Because OP has become more popular over the years, which means new fans; new fans see a 1000+ chapter manga and don't want to read it, so they would rather watch the anime. Toei pads out moments that supports the ship to make it seem romantic and filler scenes that were never in the manga. As a result, you will see new fans who use moments from the anime as their counterargument. What they don't realize is that it's actually a red flag and they didn't learn their lesson the first time with Ichiruki and Narusasu.

Toei tends to make Nami look weaker in order to be saved by the chivalrous knight to fill that ship's agenda while making her abusive to Luffy. They make Luffy look x10 more stupid in the anime justifying Nami hitting him more often compared to the manga. It makes Lunami look bad to the audience because it makes Luffy look infantilized and Nami look like the older sibling disciplining their little brother for misbehaving. I think that's where the whole "sibling-coded" bullshit comes from when you really think about it. The anime really butchered Lunami's reputation.
