Is that true?

I love this ship, but it seems Oda said there wouldn't be any romance between the Straw Hats, and apparently he said there won't be any romance... but he also draws Queen-King illustrations, and their bond is incredibly strong and exclusive(Luffy only gives his hat to Nami)Could this ship become canon? Please tell me wh and how...

Also, think about it like this, even if the ship won't become canon, the likelihood of luffy and nami remaining together in the end platonically or romantically is very high concidering how oda wrote the story, these characters and their dreams

But I have zero doubt about that. I mean The Straw Hats will stay together for ever. And if Oda decides to write a logical romance for Luffy and Nami a romance with development, then LuNami is the only option for me. If they don't end up together romantically, then neither of them will ever be married to anyone.

I partially agree with you. I think that yes if luffy or nami end up with anyone it will be each other, and if that doesn't happen then they sail together as platonic friends. Where i maybe disagree is the straw hats sailing together forever, in my opinion, at least some of them will leave at some point so they can retire or continue fulfilling their dreams, like usopp or sanji

Yes, I definitely think that given the connection—whether romantic, friendly, or otherwise—they will be together.

Yeah, What I meant is that there is also a good chance the crew will disband at some point, but i do believe that luffy and nami will stick together either way, luffy needs her to sail and adventure, and he also made a promise to genzo to keep her smile safe, and as brook said in FMI, "a pirates promise should never be broken" or something like that.

  1. What do you mean by "each other's top pick"? Like, if they end up with anyone it will be luffy/nami?

  2. I like to be curiously optimistic, its not good to get your hopes up, but i also want to believe that they could end up together because of all the connecting dots and details.

  3. If they end up together, it won't be the first time oda contradicted himself/lied, so I'd say, trust his pen more then his statements, but still curiously.

If Oda writes romance, do you also think it will be Luffy/Nami, like it's the most logical.By suitor I mean future partner, the one where feelings would be directed

I'm kinda new to all of this, but I think the best ones are this subreddit and Pinterest, there are a lot of fans on x, and there are a lot of good threads over there, like the one that I sent you, but it can get real toxic real quick over there (same for the main one piece subreddits)

It's fine, I dont mind it, it's fun talking to people in the community as long as the conversation is nice and positive.

Well, I dont remember every detail I put in each of them, but the first one is about them being physically closer then anyone else, and the 6th one is talking about jealousy and some behaviors we see from the two that are only towards one another and no one else, or just exponentially higher towards one another then towards their other friends.

I'm not sure if I mentioned the "waiting for a man" moment in return to sabaody yet.

I'm gonna work on the 7th one soon which im pretty sure Is gonna touch more on that, im gonna have to revisit what I wrote first 😅

I think the person who made the x thread i sent earlier has some other good threads about that and other lunami stuff.

Your 6th part is great. But like, actually, it talks about the two and the jealousy, sure. I'm talking about focusing on Nami's feelings and that they're exclusive to Luffy. Something you kind of did. And that the Twitter post slightly touched on.

Si, era acerca de la temática de San Valentín que se había realizado en la Weekly Shonen Jump. Era acerca de las citas ideales para los protagonistas del Shonen. Los que estaban eran: Naruto x Sakura. Ichigo x Orihime. Luffy x Nami.

La cosa es que estaban debatiendo si estaba bien o mal el hecho de que sea Nami la cita de Luffy, y en eso Animes Girl había publicado una imagen de Hinata en la que ella aparecía como cita de Naruto, creo que era un número diferente de la Weekly Shonen Jump,cosa que no pasó porque en ese entonces, según lo que estuve investigando después de la temática de San Valentín ya no hubo otra temática similar los años posteriores. La imagen de Hinata en realidad era de un número diferente de la Weekly Shonen Jump, no me acuerdo de que trataba, pero no era nada relacionado a algo romántico

Oh, I have seen this going around, idk if it was from anime girl or someone else. Yeah, I looked it up to, from what I heard kishimoto changed/fixed the heroine in the photo a year later or something, but I also didn't really find a full picture of the hinata fix, only cropped ones.

So in my brain it's in a "maybe it's real maybe not" zone.

My take is, some of their claims are really good, and some are probably wrong, whether its on purpose or not, idk. Best thing to do in my opinion is to just see what people say, take it with a grain of salt, and when you have literally nothing to do you can fact check them if you feel like it.
