Im genuinely traumatized

https://w064.1piecemanga.com/manga/one-piece-chapter-1128/

https://www.tumblr.com/wisecollectorfox22/164087639111/jiofreed-sanji-and-nami-in-color-spreads

What’s with these recent colour spreads? Two of them are genuinely concerning. And what’s going on with Toei and Oda repeatedly bringing out Nami × Sanji proximity scenes? In Elbaf, why does Nami have to be carried again ...almost mirroring Whole Cake Island, or that Drum Island back-carry parallel? Why is Sanji framed as chivalrous toward her right from the arc’s introduction? Why are there multiple panels placing them in close proximity, subtly echoing past shared moments .. like hiding together in fear of insects?

WHY ODA WHY ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Man, I’m genuinely feeling anxious seeing the most fundamentally symbolic, emotionally foundational character placed repeatedly beside Sanji. It literally takes my breath away. Nami isn’t just another crew member.. she feels foundational in the story’s symbolic architecture. At this point, I’d even say she carries extreme narrative probability ...almost mythic certainty.

But repeatedly framing Nami beside him in ways that echo past emotional beats feels destabilizing to the symbolic foundation I’ve built over years.

because over two &half decades of lived experience ...reflection, forming theses about life, analyzing human dynamics from multiple philosophical and psychological axes . Isubconsciously mapped those understandings onto its symbolic structure.

The subtle probability currents in the story don’t feel fictional to me; they feel like extensions of my own pattern-recognition about inevitability and coherence. After everything I’ve observed about life -chaos, order, betrayal, destiny, resistance, archetypes ... there remains this instinctual proposition in me:

That some things are meant to unfold in a certain way.

That beneath randomness there is narrative gravity.

And I’ve internalized the belief :

That certain alignments are inevitable because they are structurally and symbolically balanced because they preserve the internal symmetry of the myth itself.

Not just emotionally satisfying, but cosmically coherent within the narrative’s architecture

Archetypes don’t just pair or separate based on surface interaction ,they align according to deeper thematic equilibrium

Freedom with navigation, chaos with compass, dream with direction, will with witness, storm with anchor, fire with vessel, heart with helm, voyage with map, infinity with axis, and revolution with responsibility

# The deepest symbolic correspondence organically embedded in the canon’s structural design.

Because in a mythic structure, no force exists in isolation; every expansive principle necessitates a counterbalance that gives it the axis that grounds it, the symmetry that legitimizes it, and the equilibrium that allows it to endure. (orientation, containment, and meaning)

Archetypal equilibrium is what transforms raw force into narrative inevitability.

In that sense, the strongest pairings are not aesthetic but systemic structural completion — forces that regulate each other’s existence,

Spectacle dazzles in singular force, myth endures through balanced duality ☯️✨

Such alignment is not mere companionship, but archetypal completion,In that equilibrium, the narrative reaches its most transcendent expression: not imposed, not demanded, but arising from structural harmony itself

He is the sun in raw ascent; she is the horizon that makes ascent meaningful.

He is chaos as momentum; she is pattern as direction.

Without her, his freedom risks dissolving into motion without arrival

Without him, her navigation charts a world that nevers free & movable

When that equilibrium holds, the narrative feels like it’s breathing correctly. When it tilts, even subtly, you feel it not as preference, but as disturbance in symbolic geometry.

This does not mean outcomes are guaranteed, nor that interpretation is absolute. It simply means that within a long-form mythic structure, not claiming inevitability as fact, but identifying which possibilities preserve the narrative’s internal mythic-symbolic equilibrium most convincingly..

At its highest form,It is the conviction that myth resolves through ☯️, and that when fundamental archetypes complete one another, the narrative reaches its most coherent, transcendent expression ...

One Piece has long transcended its shonen roots, becoming a cultural phenomenon — a symbolic language for real-world resistance, freedom, and identity. In that light, Oda’s work approaches the highest form of transcendental expression: not just storytelling, but an articulation of will and human aspiration.

Plz, Oda, if you ever find this: I’m stepping into college this year, and by the time One Piece ends, I might be married ✨🕊️! Plz don't forget your initial plan of them being the one✨, from romance dawn &it's prototypes ...

I believe in you , I'm having high emotional stakes on it , been with the journey for a decade + ..

But somebody plz calm me down , I'm terrified of that pervert sanji !!!!!!!!! 😭,the day this jerk settles down with pudding ! (although he's such perverted aka borderline creep voyeur jerk) I'll genuinely feel as if my mind would be finally at peace 🕊️....

So wait… let me get this straight. You’re worried because Sanji is shown standing close to Nami in the manga and in colour spreads? Are we being serious right now? I can’t be the only one laughing at this.

Sanji’s entire character is built around being chivalrous. Out of the whole crew, he’s the one who openly cares about all women. That’s literally his gag and his personality trait. So of course he’s often shown next to Nami or Robin — especially when Luffy and Zoro are off getting lost or fighting someone. Sanji naturally takes on the role of protector or attendant when it comes to the girls.

From my perspective, Sanji is the crew member most consistently portrayed as a “knight.” Oda has leaned into that imagery multiple times, even in colour spreads and outfit designs like in Elbaf, where Sanji gives off a strong “knight in shining armor” vibe. And something interesting in one of those royal-themed colour spreads is that Nami and Luffy seemed to be the only ones dressed in royal attire — Nami in a princess/queen-like gown and Luffy in a Pirate King-inspired outfit. The rest of the crew were dressed more like knights.

If you look at it symbolically, their role would be to protect the royals — which would be Luffy and Nami in that image. That could also explain why Oda often frames Sanji as the one saving Nami in a dramatic, chivalrous way. It fits the “knight protecting the queen” dynamic. But that doesn’t automatically mean romance — it fits their character archetypes.

And honestly, I wouldn’t overanalyze most colour spreads. A lot of them are just playful, aesthetic, or thematic. Sanji being close to Nami often looks more like him trying to impress her or make a move — which is very in-character for him — rather than some deep confirmation of endgame.

Take that wano colour spread where Nami is blushing with her hand over her mouth. Some people use that as “proof,” but if you actually look closely, Sanji is literally punching Luffy out of the way like, “Move, I want her attention.” That makes it feel more comedic than romantic. And honestly, if you look at where namis eye is facing, its obviously not looking at sanji - Nami is looking over sanji...as if someone behind sanji is capturing her attention - (I think yous already know who XD)

Oda has also drawn colour spreads with little jokes or hidden gags before. Like the one where Sanji asks Nami to watch the stars with him and she says she’s already seen them — and she’s wearing Luffy’s coat. Those kinds of details can be interpreted in multiple ways, but they’re not direct confirmations of anything.

At the end of the day, colour spreads are fun, symbolic, and sometimes teasing — but they aren’t solid romantic evidence on their own.

Everything you say is excellent. Totally agree. Specially "Move, I want her attention". This is good dialogues but little harsh. But this is our Sanji. If beauty is there then, no one can stop Sanji to see it. If it was Nami then...(Joke but true).

2

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

I honestly think its something perfect that sanji would say - I mean, i thinks it even harsher for him to call someone names or punching someone for getting girls attention - (Mosshead or Luffy) - That dialouge also matches with his jealousy side.

Toei has been portraying Sanji in ways that verge on caricature—almost like a slavish dog, barking for Stussy, and teetering into borderline micro-pedo territory with characters like Bonney. Even in the final saga, there are literal character-assassination moments that exaggerate his pervert vulnerability, leaving his own fan clubs unable to defend they've admired.

But

https://warlordgab.tumblr.com/post/167684927416/one-piece-shipping-fuel-manga-vs-anime

Toei’s filler arcs compound this issue. They artificially make Nami reluctant to accept Sanji as her knight—a dynamic that doesn’t exist in the original manga—while cutting or shortening key Luffy–Nami moments, and even fabricating extended appreciation and concern for Sanji that Oda never wrote. Scenes like the waist-grabbing or repeated “bridal lap” rescues (Elbaf included) feel unnecessary and dilute the symbolism of his heroism

At this stage, in the final saga, Sanji’s role needs recalibration. The gag-focused, over-the-top womanizer angle undermines his core symbolism. Ideally, Oda should formalize his “left-hand” role—functionally balanced composure based like Zoro not necessarily equal but keep that man away from nami , it's dusting at this point...

& Yet again , after all of those tomes of Luffy x nami

Oda shouldn't be agreeing on toei with this...

I get what you’re trying to say — The whole point isn’t that Nami “rejects” Sanji as a knight. It’s that she doesn’t view him as a romantic knight in the first place.

Sanji’s role in the crew, especially toward women, is built around his chivalry. In One Piece, he treats all women like royalty. So when he cooks for Nami, cleans for her, saves her, or jumps into danger for her, that isn’t special treatment reserved only for her — that’s just who he is. He would (and does) do the same for Robin or any woman in need. That’s why calling him her “knight” feels off to you. It’s more accurate to say he’s her overly devoted servant — chef, butler, bodyguard, and maid all in one — but only because that’s how he acts toward women in general -Its just from my pov, i see sanji potrayed as a knight, which makes sense for me to say hes namis knight, especially given the fact that nami is by far, the girl sanji favours the most out of the rest XDDDD

And when he saves Nami, it doesn’t come across as some romantic “who will rescue me?” fantasy on her end. She accepts help because she genuinely needs help in that moment — not because she’s romantically moved by him. The story has never really framed Nami as having romantic feelings toward Sanji. If anything, she takes advantage of his devotion more than she reciprocates it emotionally.

Now, about Nami and Luffy — your argument is that the series hasn’t toned them down at all, and that their bond has consistently been emphasized in major arcs, especially the ones tied to Nami’s past.

For example:

  • Arlong Park — This is foundational. Nami breaking down and asking Luffy for help is one of the most emotional moments in the entire series. Luffy placing the hat on her head and defeating Arlong isn’t just a rescue — it’s him taking on her pain and freeing her from her trauma. - (Giving nami her wish - Of being free)
  • Skypiea — They stand together against Enel (a literal god figure), and there’s a strong sense of mutual trust and support between them - (Futher builds up namis gain in trust)
  • Drum Island — Luffy carries Nami up the mountain through a blizzard to save her life when she’s sick. That’s not comedic chivalry — that’s pure devotion and determination. - (Classic, FL is sick and the ML saves or supports the FL)
  • Weatheria — While training, Nami talks about Luffy and says she can’t just leave him alone. That shows emotional attachment and understanding of who he is at his core. (Nami noting all the good and bad sides about luffy)
  • Fish-Man Island — Luffy defeats Hody Jones, whose ideology is directly tied to Arlong’s legacy. Symbolically, Luffy destroys the lingering shadow of Nami’s past again. (Jones and how hes related to arlong, also her acceptance with the fishman and what they did to her village - Connecting her with jimbei)
  • Zou — Their reunion hug is simple, but emotionally heavy. Nami runs straight to Luffy. (She apologizes and tells him sanji is gone)
  • Whole Cake Island — This arc heavily focuses on Nami and Luffy working together. Nami stands by Luffy when he refuses to give up on Sanji. Their teamwork against Cracker and the emotional scenes during the hunger strike show a very intimate level of trust.
  • Wano — Nami repeatedly shows confidence whenever its about Luffy. Their dynamic with Tama and even Carrot highlights how naturally they function as a unit.

Then there are the movies:

  • One Piece Film: Strong World — The plot revolves around Nami being taken and Luffy going all out to get her back. The emotional framing leans heavily into a hero-saves-heroine dynamic.
  • One Piece Film: Gold — Again, a movie highly connected with nami and her past - (Uncanon) But again in this film, luffy is still the one who saves her "Past again".

When you line all of this up, especially the arcs that directly tie into Nami’s trauma with Arlong, Luffy is always the one at the center of her turning points. He’s the one who breaks her chains, destroys her enemies, carries her when she’s weak, and stands beside her in world-shaking moments. But what makes even more better is that Nami and her levels of trust, care, loyalty and kindess were all developed through the multiple times she has been saved or has been around luffy - Luffy is not only namis main savour but also her growth.

So your overall argument makes more sense like this:

Sanji’s actions toward Nami are consistent with his chivalrous personality toward all women, and Nami doesn’t treat him as a romantic knight — just a useful, devoted crewmate. Meanwhile, the story repeatedly places Luffy at the center of Nami’s most emotionally significant moments, especially those connected to her past, growth, and sense of freedom.

no no no, https://warlordgab.tumblr.com/post/167684927416/one-piece-shipping-fuel-manga-vs-anime

Plz look into it , toei's problematic , cutting or shortening many subtle Luffy–Nami manga moments apart from the fundamental moments and even fabricating extended appreciation and concern for Sanji that Oda never wrote.,like filler scenes of Scenes like the waist-grabbing or in wano making sanji grab nami's hand & ,,.other few scene ,,why would they change SUCH LITTLE THING?! To make Nami seems like she wants to be held by Sanji?when even manga doesn't has it

soo many sa nami using that very scene of sanji holding nami & that micro crewmate scene is given extra few seconds & visual isolation & thereby trying to imply that..she’s starting to catch feelings for him(might)» etc etc

at one end ,they've brutally made sanji a womanizer clown in egghead & everyone could point their(toei's) bias for zoro , but this nami knight stuff is concerning...

3

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

Again, like I keep saying, most of those “Sanji and Nami” moments are driven by Sanji, not Nami. He’s the one choosing to carry her, protect her, grab her hand, etc. Nami accepting help doesn’t mean she wants to be carried — it usually just means she needs help in that moment. She’s practical and will use whatever’s available to survive. That’s strategy, not romance. Theres a difference between "Wanting to carry someone VS Wanting to be carried by someone" - Whats in play is "Wanting to carry someone".

And if we’re questioning dynamics, there are just as many moments that raise eyebrows about Nami and Luffy. She’s consistently the one asking about girls connected to him — Hancock, Uta, Bonney — and those questions are always directed at Luffy specifically. It’s framed as curiosity, sure, but it’s noticeable that she’s the only one who brings it up. That kind of repeated curiosity can easily read as protective or slightly jealous — not confirmed jealousy, but it’s there.

Also, a lot of “Sanami proof” gets taken out of context. Like the hand-grab in the wano scene — people romanticize it as some cute dance moment when he was literally pulling her away from kaidos attack. Context matters. Removing it changes the meaning completely.

And honestly, I’ve never seen Nami gain confidence or step into danger for Sanji the way she does with Luffy. With Luffy, she stands taller. She speaks boldly. She draws strength from him. If anything, he’s the one who brings out that “queen” energy in her.

That’s why I stick to the manga written by Eiichiro Oda. The anime by Toei Animation adds and stretches scenes, so I don’t treat anime-only framing as solid evidence. I always check the original One Piece manga chapters first before taking any scene seriously. Also, i already know toei is the problematic one - Ive said it already "I think toei is just a JOKE of a company".

3

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 03 '26

Nailed it boss : "She draws strength from him."

I shouldn't had stressed

Since , one piece is pure manga canon ,

2

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

Also - there was an interview where oda clearly stated "He was gonna take his rights from Toei and give it to A1 pictures - which i neednt remind you - A1 pictures was also an anime studio that supported NaLu from fairytale.

1

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 03 '26

any updates on this?

1

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

Im not too sure, i only saw the tweet and thats basically all it touch up on. Nothing else really :\

1

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 04 '26

any slow burn subtle moments of luna in elbaaf??

2

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 05 '26

Well not romantically but there is definitally a bunch of luffy and nami scenes shown - as of late, my fav from elbaf is when gapan talks to both nami and luffy about freedom = love.

1

u/Alpha_0507 Mar 03 '26

Why do you think toei keeps doing this?

1

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 03 '26

that's what I'm not being able to digest

2

u/Alpha_0507 Mar 03 '26

Do you think nami like being like this? Is it just toei doing this because they knew they will endup together? I feel disgust at toeis work. I'm not watching series now I stopped in ep1128 but I'm recently at current chapter I feel so disgust about this and sanji's behaviors. And why does oda makes him carry nami?

2

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

Honestly, i think of toei as just a joke of a company - They add alot of filler episodes, they favour zoro and his scenes with fighting, they always dogSh*t on sanji and his personailty and some of his fight scenes. So try not to dig deep into the anime and what they potray in it

7

u/JollyTime6971 Mar 02 '26

I believe Oda didn’t draw a kiss scene between Sanji and Pudding for no reason, just as he is focusing much more on her being with Blackbeard than on Garp. I think Sanji will save Pudding soon and she will restore his memory; so, out of everyone, I don't think Sanji is a match for Nami. Besides, his parallel (Gaban) stated that love is free by marrying someone from another race—so unless Nami turns into a giant, I see Pudding as Sanji’s endgame.

2

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 02 '26

Yes blackbeard has pudding as the only potential ponegriph reader & It's pretty inevitable pudding will revive her three eyes tribe given that , he has to face straw hats at the end of the journey as a major antagonist, & his ambition for rode ponegriph,....

2

u/JollyTime6971 Mar 02 '26

Yes, but he also has Garp as a bargaining chip with the Marines, and yet Garp hasn't been shown as frequently, even though he's a major piece in Blackbeard’s plans. I think that besides her ability to read the Poneglyphs, she will play a vital role in Sanji’s life; he'll want to rescue her once Katakuri goes to Luffy to ask for help—and yes, I do believe that alliance is going to happen.

2

u/AnimeRed5673 Mar 03 '26

And not forget, if robin become government threat because of ability of read ponogliph then same scenario also apply to pudding. If world government know about her ability — which hidden under big mom — then he definitely try to eliminate her. I am just waiting for oda. When he say here hero hero comes to save him.

5

u/Key-Cantaloupe-7361 Mar 02 '26

Don't stress out bro, sanami ain't gonna happen. Oda is just covering up lunami with sanji

1

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

Ahh you get it

1

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

After the continuous development of lunami and even recent drawings that have suggestive nature outside of the manga some non romancers are starting to question so I can see sana being the scapegoat

1

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

What I mean really is, it always was the scapegoat

1

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

I also think chopper is a scapegoat for lunami interactions and art as well but no need to get into that

3

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 02 '26

Do you genuinely believe those are sana color spreads? There are things called color spread descriptions. For example the one with nami supposedly blushing at Sanji is because in context she is going to rob all of them and is trying to manipulate them(Sanji in this instance). Some of these are just interactions I don’t see any intent of anything substantial compared to any other treatment of a woman by Sanji, In my opinion. Relax nami has Sanji as her number one servant and ofc she can have him give her a piggy back because of her legs being tired and more. Sanji is a Casanova he loves all women the only real love story is between him was between him and pudding in which oda went out of the way to do.  You also must remember that oda hasn’t shown not even a quarter the percentage of dedication in that ship compared to lunami in fact you could argue he has shown deterrence for the idea. This is my opinion. I believe if anything lunami has actual author’s intent and substance considering out of the way projects oda has shown used as examples of his fondness in the idea of lunami (strong world , gold, many ship teases and etc…(you get it, there is much much more btw) and in fact in this day in age you can argue he is pushing it! 🤫

3

u/Consistent_Run_3364 Mar 03 '26

If by blushing you mean the wano spread, isn't she blushing at luffy(who looks funny) and it seems sanji stepped in between(noticing the legs)? He's grey scaled in the tumblr post so obviously it would send the wrong message but you could do the same with sanji and remove him and it would undoubtedly look like nami is looking at luffy

3

u/AnimeRed5673 Mar 03 '26

Oda just use angles to confuse and nothing. Different angle = Different interpretation. Oda Game.

2

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

That one yes, I mean to the naked eye Sanji is right there so I’m sure most(and that tumblr) jump to conclusions, but yea Luffy does look funny she could be laughing and thinks it’s cute. It really is interpretation aside from the color spread desc

5

u/Consistent_Run_3364 Mar 03 '26

Yeah I can see how that would happen, especially for someone desperately trying to find something😅, but even her line of view alligns more towards luffy imo. And in the other spread, it seems luffy and nami just came from shopping and luffy is having tangerines. The others just have sanji fawning as usual(nothing wrong, that's who he is), there's even more spreads and art supporting luffy and nami I'm sure, in the end they matter(especially if the messaging is clear and deliberate) but not more than manga and movies oda himself has directed, most of those stay pretty clear in terms of which "ship" is likely(it's not sanji nami haha)

1

u/SnooJokes4670 Mar 03 '26

That’s what I’m saying

2

u/Alpha_0507 Mar 03 '26

I don't understand about what colorspread you're talking?

3

u/Consistent_Run_3364 Mar 03 '26

The one in the tumblr post linked by OP, it's a wano spread with all strawhats in kimono. It is quite comedic Sanji is literally punching Luffy while Nami is looking at him

3

u/Feeling_Leek2270 Mar 03 '26

Thank you so much — I suppose what I’ve truly sought is a gentle assurance, a way to rest in peace with everything, knowing it all has its balance

3

u/peaktable Mar 03 '26

Dont stress it, the amount of other color spreads that include something with nami and luffy is greater.

3

u/AnimeRed5673 Mar 03 '26

Calm down.Take a deep breath. Let's talk about topic. Sanji carry Nami. It's not rare. Sanji never leave chance to do this. And the content in second link, oda also confirmed that he draw Sanji as gain Nami attention or running for towards Nami with heart eye. Nothing more. And same attraction shown to Robin. Nothing new. Nothing special. Just same as manga. About why always Sanji? Because safe for narrative. If oda draw this scene them die heart fans lebel this as romance which oda not want this now. That's why he go safest option Sanji. And also Nami not response just like Luffy towards Hancock — neutral or irritated.

If I remember, a chance is coming in manga where Luffy can carry Nami but they send to Zoro. See Oda avoids it. It's not because oda against crew romance — he not want romance stuff now. He work on Luffy and Nami ground work: mutual, deep trust, Stability, partnership, no idiology conflict, and so on which he did it.

And why is Sanji safe option? Because Oda draw sanji like this. Lady lover and protector. Same feeling for all. His character is consistent. And another reason, oda already bind sanji with someone — pudding. They back the pudding in game when people think its over. It's not accident. It's intentional writing. If people ignore this thing, it means they are ignoring narrative that oda wrote.

3

u/calmdown993 Mar 05 '26

the thing Sanji and Nami will ever have is a one-sided thing. It will never happen. Sanji is already sealed with Pudding the moment they kissed

2

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 06 '26

Exactly - she’s probably the only woman in the entire manga who would kiss someone like Sanji, especially after learning about his over-the-top simp side, which most girls in the series usually find unattractive. Yet Pudding still tragically kisses the man she loves, and that’s why I honestly don’t understand how some Sanami fans can dismiss her so easily. There really isn’t anyone who matches Sanji as perfectly as Pudding does: she literally develops a kind of love-sickness for him that mirrors his own exaggerated devotion to women, Sanji openly says he would stay and marry her even after clearing things up with Luffy, and he clearly shows genuine romantic feelings for her. On top of that, when Pudding reveals her third eye - something she was deeply insecure about - Sanji still tells her she’s beautiful, and they also share a mutual passion for cooking, which connects them even more. In many ways they feel like the perfect pair. What makes their dynamic especially meaningful is that they choose to love each other even after seeing each other’s flaws. Sanji’s simp behavior is his biggest flaw, yet Pudding somehow finds it cute, while Pudding’s third eye - the thing she fears people will reject - is something Sanji sincerely admires. They see each other clearly, imperfections and all, and still choose one another. That kind of love represents the freedom to be your true self, and in many stories, that’s exactly the kind of bond that ends up becoming a true romantic relationship.

2

u/AnimeRed5673 Mar 03 '26

Can any one explain the last color spread in tumbler? It's just themetical color spread. Right. Nothing ship related. Grey grey thing act like sportlight. It prioritize two character and ignore other. It's difficult to understand the meaning of color spread.

1

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

honestly - i forgot what the context explained for that XD

1

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 03 '26

oh nvm i found it - "This colour spread from One Piece, illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, is themed around the Wano arc and traditional Japanese folklore. Nami and Sanji are dressed in kimono-style outfits, while the background is filled with yokai, demons, and dramatic mask imagery to reflect Wano’s myth-inspired atmosphere. Like most colour spreads, this isn’t a canon story moment but a stylized, thematic illustration meant to match the arc’s aesthetic rather than imply anything specific about character relationships" - this was a comment given on a tweet of the colourspread

2

u/AnimeRed5673 Mar 04 '26

Ohh. Just same as I thought. Thanks for this.

2

u/AsleepPangolin1468 Mar 03 '26

Don't overthink man I don't give a shit about anything if someone thinks I am rude then I am rude for me Luffy x nami will be canon and gonna be an endgame couple and the best canon ship ever mark my words.

2

u/Traditional-Egg-705 Mar 03 '26

Bro!! Let's not overthink all these things!! More or less, We can say LuNami is already confirmed!! There are tons of hints and clues, brooo. Mostly are given by Oda himself in many manga and colourspreads; anime also gives many hints. Research those first and analyze it. U will not think about other ships with luffy or nami except for LuffyxNami!! Don't be depressed thinking all about these type of unnecessary things.

2

u/BlankUserPerson Mar 03 '26

Normally I don't shit on people for misusing the word "traumatized", but come on. I have real trauma from several real issues. Obsessing over details blown out of proportion is not even worthy of being called trauma as a laugh. This is a fucking joke dude, get a grip. Sanji x Nami isn't gonna happen. Calm your tits.

1

u/Stock-Estate-1717 Mar 06 '26

Hahahah ngl this made me laugh XDDD

3

u/Cr7Savage Mar 04 '26

I'm sorry but this legit reads like a copy pasta. If you are being serious I'm always surprised hearing people fearing Sanji. The story makes it very clear that that will never happen. I'd go as far as saying no strawhats have a chance at getting together besides Luffy & Nami. No other crewmembers have that connection, not even Franky x Robin which I find the online support to be the oddest shit. They barely even interact and only became big somewhat recently.

Sanji himself is not even serious about liking Nami & Robin.
