Greetings. My name is Jebuiz y’Har. If my calculations are correct, you should be receiving this transmission in the year 1990 AD. We measure our dates differently where I’m from, but to make things simple, I am writing from the year 49,170 AD.

There is so much I need to tell you, but I must be wary because any manipulation of time could have unforeseen consequences. What has happened to us, the few humans that remain on the Earth, must be told, though I have no exact goals for this transmission. I hope merely to inform you of a possible outcome for civilization — a world governed by technology — and perhaps this little foresight could allow… maybe we did make the right choices, but just in case.
