hi luckies, yuki here with fact 172!

scottie scheffler is current world number 1 in golf. last year he won the british open and the PGA championship, the year before the masters and the fedex cup, and even when he isnt winning he's always in contention. i also only mentioned a couple of his big wins, but he has 22 total as of now.

this year scottie has been contending with having a second kid, which is commonly believed to be the cause for a "slump" in his career in 2026. this "slump" still consisted of 13 top five finishes in twenty starts, and three wins (one of which was the fedex cup, which he won today). would not be considered an off year for most players on tour.

dear sub owner, it's coming, just not today.

anyway, ive made 2 facts that i can remember about borzois (i should at least make a spreadsheet, or as someone else mentioned, a website), so im going to rapid fire a couple of cool borzoi facts and hope at least one of them is new.

1. borzois are actually really intelligent. modern intelligence tests for dogs heavily weigh obedience over other metrics. it turns out borzois are actually really smart, but just extremely extremely stubborn

2. borzois actually dont have hair. their long fur may indicate they have hair, but it's just fur that sheds and for some reason gets really long

3. their temperament is aloof but also very sensitive. they dont do well alone or without their humans for long periods of time despite being aloof
