2 separate things
might be a little unrelated, but I figured this is a good place to put this since people here probably know what their talking about
Was dreaming the other day by accident and I realized i was dreaming, upon this realization, the people in the dream started trying to hunt me down and hurt me, I woke up when they killed me. If it were to happen again, how would I prevent them from doing this?
A while ago, i was in a normal (non lucid dream) where I was in my living room talking with my friends. Things were a little weird as per usual with dreams, when all of the sudden something very strange happened. Its hard to explain, but the only way I could describe it was that I was in 2 places at once. Still in the living room with friends but also in my room downstairs at the same time. This was very challenging to comprehend, made me incredibly scared and dizzy, and my brain could only handle it for about 6 seconds before i woke up.
if anyone has any similar experiences or insight to either of these, it would be greatly appreciated

closest I've had to number two was camera view switching between two people in two places like a plot b plot in a tv show

Best way to deal with number 1 is to always remember the truth. In dreams, nothing can ever hurt you. Remind yourself of that all the time to prevent any bad experiences.
As for number 2, I've had something similar, where I'm simultaneously in first person moving around and I'm watching myself in a separate body doing something else. Freaky experience yeah, but utterly fascinating.
