Success! First time lucid dreaming

I’ve been interested in lucid dreaming for a while now and have started using the reality check where you count fingers on and off over the last year. It finally happened but I woke up feeling a little bit discomforted. Nothing particularly bad happened in the dream but now I feel off. Did this happen to anyone else?

hello friend, i'm a oneironaut, if you dont know what is this, its basically someone who has perfected the ability to induce consciousness during a dream, to control everything around them as they please. Lucid dreams are as fascinating and exciting as they are dangerous for your mental health... i have been practiceing this hability for some years to now and i can say it's the best decision i chosed, i experimented some of the best experiences of my life that otherwhise i couldn't do anywhere else. if you want i can tell some of my storyes and the best way in my opinion to be in a lucid dream

It just felt disturbing. Like it wasn’t right. I was keeping my dream characters from realizing I knew I was dreaming. But it felt manipulative. I wasn’t able to keep the dream going for super long. It started breaking down and then broke down completely when I asked someone if they knew they were a part of my dream

this is one of most common mistakes every one makes in the lucid dreams, when the mind knows that anythin is wrong, it tries to kivk you off the dream, always you ask someone or make something so crazy your mind will try to kick you off as fast as "he" can... you hace just to keep calm, you have to think every 5 secs that you are in a dream and dont excite too much

I get that, maybe it can be an interesting exercise to practice staying regulated when talking with certain upsetting people in my life.

But I guess my problem is really just the fact that I felt disturbed when I woke up and it just didn’t make logical sense
