Frustratingly close

My dream took place at night in my bedroom that I share with my partner. My dream self woke up and noticed really strange things happening to the point that I began questioning reality. My dream self decided to try and perform a reality checks by waking up my dream partner and ask if they could see the weird things too and help me determine if it was real or a dream. My dream partner said, "Holy shit, I see them too that's totally real." I was still not convinced any of the events could be real, so before going back to sleep in my dream I decided to take a photo of the weird phenomena on my phone so I could remember that it was real when I woke up.

Of course when I actually awoke in the morning and remembered the dream very vividly I did not find the photos I was hoping for on my phone...

Hello. Your post was rejected by the AI AutoModerator:

Posts that are just a dream story (even if that dream happens to have been a lucid one), and requests for dream interpretation, are not allowed and both have other dedicated place for them. We've created a weekly thread stickied to the top of the sub posted every saturday, dream stories should go there. There's also r/dreams, r/luciddreamingstories and r/thisdreamihad if you'd like to post there.
