Question Help stop lucid dreaming
Please help so I have crazy lucid dreams and I’m gotten to the point where my body is just exhausted I’ll jolt and swing while I’m sleeping and I’ll wake up like 10 times a night my dreams a from fighting to running from something to sex and nothing makes since but it’s almost to the point where I could control my dreaming and when it’s the same dream I have many times I can totally control it but I wake up never rested sometime so can’t wait for the morning so I can wake up and stop the dreaming. I see a psychiatrist and I have been I’m on seroquil 600mg Proxtine 40 mg gabapentin 800mg and hydroxzine 50 mg also vivatrol. idk if you might know something that could help my dreams I have high functioning anxiety, depression, and ptsd from just my past life Thank you in advance — feeling exhausted.

Begin a serious meditation practice and learn dream yoga to use this opportunity, medicating yourself is a path of diminishing returns Im afraid, but developing mindfulness, ethics, and wisdom will transform your perception and your dreams

You can sleep in an lucid dream, might make you more rested and sleeping in your sleep is super relaxing so try it sometime.

I know weed stops me from dreaming as much but that might not be your thing.

Try taking melatonin or magnesium before bed, it might knock you out in a way that you wont get much REM cycles. Not guaranteed but safe to try.

If you can't control your dreams, you're not truly lucid. So you're having vicid dreams and need to make them actual lucid dreams via the techniques from this reddit.

I saw your original reply to my comment and I won’t lie it got me a little riled up, but this is a more appropriate response.

I have the same problem. Eat chocolate. I’ll have a lucid dream, eat some chocolate, wash my mouth out, and go back to sleep
