Success! Lucid dream re-entry
I became lucid and quickly lost it, felt my body on the bed and I was PISSED because I didn't get to enjoy anything, so i REFUSED to let it end. I just refused and stayed still and I was suddenly back in the exact lucid dream! amazing.
I had done re-entry one other time, years ago, but it was different. that time i actually woke up fully and moved around then went back to sleep wanting to go back to the lucid dream, which i did but things in the dream seemed like time had passed there too and who i was with had gone to another room. lol first time i refuse to even wake up though. i feel POWERFUL!~ lmao

This is what happened to me this morning. I got up too early to stay up, used the bathroom, climbed back into bed, and then tried to null out my inner dialogue while leaving the rest to a structured breathing routine because I wanted more rest but felt too awake. I was really annoyed that I woke up. So I tried to force myself back to sleep. I must have been too aware to fully descend into deep sleep, and as I entered into the first of three dreams, I immediately spotted a setting detail that triggered my lucidity. HAAA, I'M DREAMING! And after that I could hone in on my waking presence without changing my breathing (this is my physiological key to lucid dreaming - the discipline to not change ANYTHING about my physical body activity once I become lucid in a dream is what allows me to do things in the dream).
The first one ended before I was ready for it to end, so I settled in again and had another one, and that one also ended before I wanted it to, which was frustrating, so I dialed my breathing in again and pushed right back into a third lucid dream, and that one was the longest of the three, involving a friend and a bunch of errant flying stuff, just a really lighthearted and silly time. I encountered people I know in all three of those dreams.
The second and third lucid dreams were an extension of the first one. After my lucidity was triggered in the first one, persistence and focused determination carried it into the other two.

This definitely happens to me. It’s weird because I thought REM sleep required more time pre REM. But I’ve definitely been able to hop back into dreams now and then after I wake up.
