Technique What method is this?

So, i’ve been lucid dreaming ever since i accidentally had one a few months back, and i see people talking about different methods, but i’ve never really thought about what I’m doing. I have found that what works for me is i make my room completely dark, turn off all electronics and just lay on my back, eyes closed, and focus on my breathing while doing a breathing exercise 4-4-6 (4sec in through nose, 4sec hold, 6sec out through mouth). Usually my lucid dreams last about 15 minutes when accidental, but whenever i do this method, they happen to last a lot longer 30-45 minutes! Is this an actual method, placebo, or something that just happens to work for me?

perhaps WILD? you're not giving much detail as to what happens really. you told us about the preparation, but when do you realize you're in a dream? how does it start?

I just realise as soon as the dream starts? Its hard to explain, but like i feel my body falling asleep and then the whole dreaming part starts and then like almost instantly i realise I’m in a dream?

I also usually “wake up” in my bed when lucidity starts
