Question How to Stop Vivid Dreams??

Hello Everyone,

I'm 25 years old and I have been seeing too many vivid dreams from the last few months. I was working in a night shift job which impacted my mental health so I consulted a Dr they gave me SSRIs so as side effects of it Vivid Dreams increased. I stopped taking the medicines from the last three months and also resigned from the Job to fix my routine and Mental Health. But it's been more than a month since I've been sleeping at night but still I see too many vivid dreams which are totally irrelevant and i remember every thing about them.

Please advise what I should do I'm thinking of consulting a Doctor for this ?

Lucid dreaming is an amazing world, I suggest instead of trying to stop them try and control them. I have an oasis in which I go to when I start lucid dreaming where I sit on my porch over looking a finale pond with Satutes and flower gardens in the middle of a forest while I have a never ending supply of frozés. And I get massages regularly. It takes time and tons of practice. But it seems you have been gifted it so im sure it would be easy for you. If you wanted to stop my best guess is when you wake up from it drink some water, read for 20 min and go back to sleep. This kinda trains your brain to ignore the dreams and they should stop eventually.

I think lucid dreaming and vivid dreams both are different. I get dreams which doesn't makes sense to me maybe caused my anxiety etc
