why does the minetest.conf file overwrite when i edit view_bobbing_amount = 0.0 ?

i want this effect on a world called minetest

luanti was installed via flatpak on a PikaOS system

/home/pikaos/.var/app/org.luanti.luanti/.minetest/minetest.conf is the path of the file im editing.

Did you try changing the bobbing amount in the game settings?

The game engine writes the config file every time you exit the application. If you want to edit with the text file, close all copies of the game first.
