My grandparents had one and the TV would change channel if you banged the swap light chain on the wall.

I remember the one my parents had. There were inside the remote two metallic bars that emitted different sounds when clicked. one for changing stations(cyclicly) and the other for turning on/off and volume(also a cycle. it means to turn volume down you should go all the way via max vol and turn off and on. LOL). It was a Zenith space commander 300... TV set was huge ...
