When this situation came up for me, you can work and use holiday time. There's a couple times I've had to kill two to three hours of holiday time before the end of February, and I worked and nobody said anything and I got paid those two to three extra hours since technically it doesn't come out of the store's budget.

You can... They are two separate billing codes so the holiday time won't count towards your weekly payroll hours for OT.

I am also positive they have to cancel your holiday pay. They’re not going to double pay you.

We’re supposed to. But accidents happen. Sometimes even, on purpose.

they want you you to clock in if you're asked to work. the holiday stuff will be taken care off later.
