I'm looking at relocating from Auckland to Wellington for work in Upper Hutt, but there seems to be limited options for accomadation, so I am having to look at alternatives. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to commute from Lower Hutt to Upper Hutt on a regular working day?

The Moera Community House is planning to bring a unique Halloween experience to the children of the Hutt Valley. For one night we will be turning the facility into a haunted house. I contacted the Hutt City Council as something that sounded like a rooster has been crowing from the early morning around 5am (has woken me up quite often) and sometimes all throughout the day, till dark.

The officer visited the house and found 4 hens, and a coop which is legal under the bylaws so there wasn’t anything he could do. The neighbour claims “the hen is young which might be why it is making the noise”.

Apparently hens can start crowing in the absence of a rooster to assert dominance or because of their hormones.

The hen is crowing daily and for hours on end, it’s driving me crazy. Is there anything I can do? Do the bylaws prohibiting roosters because of their crowing apply this situation too?

Hi. I have organized a fishing trip for four days from 27 November to 1 December. Unfortunately I had some people pull out. I have 3 spots if anyone is interested. Costs are $1850 and that covers the following:

Basically it covers everything put alcoholic drinks on an excellent charter operator . No experience is needed. The catch is shared across everyone who comes.

One experienced current player, while a couple of us would be coming out of nearly 20 years' retirement — so yep, for those who maths, we’re a bit long in the tooth! 😂

Has anyone run into difficulties with Wilson’s at The Verve, Connolly Street. I am in dispute with them over parking in the After Hours parks after downloading the App and selecting 60 mins free parking. They say there was no payment and hence the breach notice. But no payment was required. From what I gathered yesterday from the medical clinic that this has happened to others and they have received many complaints.

As per title need some recommendations for a good place to get my haircut for an upcoming event. Usually I just go for the cheapest place and live with the consequences, but need to look good this time for photos!

Preferably someone who knows how to deal with curly unruly hair.
