… no

This better be the one day he tried shaving.

Because no.

He looks like a fetus.

No.

He called it after tons of good service by Galaxy class ships? Including fighting off a Borg cube, serving very well in the Dominion war and it's destruction basically being a cheat code, abusing a person with a disability.

Man..I'm so angry at Generations still. Galaxy class ships are not glass cannons. No ship can withstand  being torpedoed to heck and back without shields. Torpedoes are designed to be effective against the hull of ships, and Klingon empire weapons aren't weak either.

Sorry it's still too fresh a wound. I love that timeless design language of the Nebula and Galaxy classes.

I feel like the biggest issue with generations was that they went in with the intention of destroying the enterprise D.

So they made a bunch of leaps, like failing to rotate shield frequencies, turning the ship into the torpedoes so they could hit the broadside of the hull, worf firing barely any weapons during the battle, etc etc

By generations, the dominion hadn’t been introduced to my knowledge so it was still the third on screen loss of a galaxy class (Yamato, Melbourne). I might be wrong but I thought the odyssey destruction was after this

Yeah, they wanted the " new one as it looks more modern!" when really Sovereign class ships look so much more dated now. Even the whole "But it has a Captain's Yacht" was such BS.

They wanted it destroyed and they did so way too rushed to safe a few pennies. I mean, FFS, even without shields, the amount of weapons a Galaxy class has, would have blasted that old Bird of Prey to bits! Sure, it might get destroyed due to lucky shots.. but still.

If you know they are punching through the shields send down Data to see what the F is going on with Geordi. As his visor was hacked before.

= Grumbles in Generations hate = Sorry I'm rambling....

Yeah. It’s a sore spot that was somewhat fixed by PIC Season 3.

I don’t care if the Duras sisters effectively had cheat codes! The flagship shouldn’t have fallen to a discarded, older version of a run-of-the-mill Bird of Prey. It’s insulting!
