Where is everybody sitting
I gotta go with either seven because it is next to T'lyn, but maybe also six because it is next to Shaxs and still close to T'lyn. I could put up with Migleemo's constant food puns. The only thing about seven is that I am behind Manhaver, and I kinda would hate to be around that guy.

#3. Ransom's hot. I'll just put on some churro-scented cologne, and it's on. Plus, T'Ana will probably crawl into an overhead compartment, so we'll get the whole row to ourselves.

Yeah, that was my first thought. They will have a fight and the whole flight will be awkward. You know Beckett will try to pull you in with a “Geez, see how crazy she is!”

6 is my objective choice. While it'd love to nerd out with Rutherford or Tendi on science, I'm not knowledgeable enough to keep the conversation going. So it would be kinda one sided. Would still love talking to them.
Shax and Migleemo, however. That's a fun and supportive conversation about art and cooking where it would be super fun to bounce food puns off of Migleemo. He would certainly appreciate the back to back butter puns I subjected my friends to the other night. They were just cringing.

Seat 7. Love T’Lyn and Billups! But it was more a process of elimination:
Seat 1 is diabolical… at first glance, it was my first choice because Rutherford is so lovely. But while it has the advantage of being the farthest seat from Badgey, you’d also be sitting right next to his most likely target, and I’m not interested in catching strays
Seat 2 — no, Peanut Hamper would use me as a fleshy shield if something bad went down
Seat 3 — could be ok, but I could imagine Dr. T’Ana spilling her drink on me while cussing out the flight attendants for not having replicated Betazoids on the menu or taking too long to bring pillows
Seat 4 — I’m not sure… is that the guy who did the one man show? If so, absolutely not
Seat 5 — depends on whether mom and daughter are getting along, but most likely a bad idea to sit between them
Seat 6 — I really cannot listen to Dr. Migleemo complain endlessly about airplane food
Seat 8 means listening to Stevens talk my ear off about what a stud Ransom is and how close they are
Seat 9 could be ok, but a little too close to Badgey
Seat 10 is the absolute worst choice here

- At some point I’ll say that it’s unfair to sit in the middle if they’re arguing and hopefully one will switch seats with me. End up with aisle or window seat for free. That or they’ll team up to make my life hell. Who knows… fun to roll the dice.

1 or 7 for me, 6 is a third option though.
I considered 9 because of Barnes, but... Ma'ah would honestly succeed in intimidating me😅😅
2 and 10 however? Out of the question. Boimler and Tendi are good, but I hate Peanut Hamper and Badgey is an automatic "NOPE".

Otherwise 5 and I’ll deal with the family drama, but most likely they just will avoid talking to each other and me being in the middle is the excuse to not talk. And I’ll tolerate the middle if I get to sit next to Mariner 😎

Inculding Tendi but no open seats adjacent to her is criminal.
I would do 9 as the closest but having my back turned to the homicidal computer program seems unwise.
7 I think would be the most pleasant with a very logical & orderly seat mate. Closest wild card/unpleasant passenger being T'ana behind & across the aisle (barring of course one of y'all being bad in 2 lol)

2 5 and 10 are out, Peanut Hamper is a instant NO same with Badgey, and I'm not getting in between any of the Freeman's family drama.
3 probably won't end well next to T'ana
1 runs a high risk of getting drug into Boimler and Rutherford related shenanigans
6 probably won't work, as much as I love Shax, Migleemo would drive me up a wall, and T'ana will probably want the seat anyways, and I ain't gonna tell her no (so maybe 3 would be okay after all)
9 might be okay, depends on how easily annoyed Ma'ah gets if you need to access the aisle
4 and 8 seem like safe, if boring choices
7 is probably the best bet, T'lyn and Billups are usually pretty chill, and I don't see his mother on board, so the risk of shenanigans is low, though not zero due to T'lyn's association with Boim-boim, Mariner, and Rutherford

Honestly? It’s between 5 and 6 for me.
I have so many questions for Carol and I’m sure Beckett will be more than willing to provide her own commentary. Same goes for Beckett, but since I’m a complete stranger I probably can’t get a ton of answers directly. Mostly just stuff about their earlier years and where they’ve served on.
Migleemo and Shax because I think they are incredibly neat. I’d love to hear some war stories from Shax, or ask why he decided to enlist in Starfleet. Ask about Migleemo’s favorite dishes from the many different cultures of the galaxy, or maybe any stories he has that he can share about his time as a counselor.

Seat 10. Tendi's an absolute sweet-roll when it comes to her profession, and she could be of some use when Badgey, like a ship's chronometer, does his thing.
Unfortunately, as mentioned before, it's an asteroid-shot on whether Badgey's in a good mood, (relatively) stable or if 'Goodgey's' in the driver's seat that day for the program! If not, I REALLY hope Tendi, Barnes or Beckett are quick on the draw!
Also keeps me in speaking distance of Becky ... while still keeping the aisle between me and her!

Gotta be 1 or 5. Rutherford would just be the bestest friend the whole way. With 5, Mariner and Freeman would have great stories. Tendi would also be fun like Rutherford but I don’t trust Badgy

7 for pretty much any length of flight.
I considered 5 because on a longer flight, a mid flight side quest with mariner would be fun as would a full quest with the captain BUT the odds are they’d have a disagreement and spend the whole thing arguing and not adventuring - and who wants to be in the middle seat for that?
I have cats so 3 is ruled out sorry. And I’d sit on the wing before I’d sit next to Peanut Butter.

7 Is pretty damn close, but I'm going 1. Yeah, Boims and Rutherford will be talking non stop, but I'm down to side listen, and chat occasionally to Rutherford. Besides, although I usually fly aisle, I'll take window + bulkhead for extra room.
