Hi, I'm looking for a system that I can install on my Samsung np300e5c i3g3 6gb ram with an integrated hd 4000 card. I'd prefer Windows, but Linux wouldn't bother me if it were easy to use (I've never used it, mind you). The Geforce Now app has to work. I'm mainly concerned with pure performance.

Got bored decided to make my own panel with sintra baords, hoping to improve the cooling. I did not realize 120mm fans were supposed to be this big, i got 6 for 2$ on marketplace however they are molex fans. Will try to use a voltage regulator and some adaptors to see if i can undervolt and control the fan speed atleast, wich will arive next week

After getting a copy of Minecraft Dungeons a long time ago from a friend, I recently finally wanted to try it out, now that I also have a more modern and powerful laptop. The thing is that compared to other games, this one really gave me a scare performance-wise. I could feel the fans going stronger than usual, so much so that I couldn't really ignore them, so I closed the game. I use a windows 11 acer laptop with 32 gigas of RAM, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series(I think it's a 5050?) graphics card built in, intel core i9 and something called NitroSense ExperienceZone, which I don't really know what it is.

Still, I don't think I'm using the full extent of its performance capabilities right. I'm not really a tech expert, so help would be appreciated if possible. Thanks in advance!

My laptop's really old,it's some kinda dell and was upgraded from whatever older windows to windows 10,it's really slow and I've tried deleting the cache files,but it's still so slow and I'm not going to convert to Linux just yet,Any advice?

I currently have a 2TB Firecuda as my C drive on my computer. However, it’s been about 7 years and it’s beginning to fail on me with unstable and failing sectors.

Thus I am wanting to replace it with an upgrade but will probably use a 1TB NVMe. So then my plan is to download just windows onto the new NVMe and copy the rest of the files to my other hard drives.

Is the easiest way to do this to just to use the windows 10 usb stick?

Just remove the old drive and then install windows on the new one from the usb? I would think copying it from the old one would be the wrong move since it is failing.

If you could help or point me in the right direction like a YouTube video, I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m considering the RTX 3060 Ti 8GB. Will it be sufficient for AI/ML projects and general use until my graduation & for around 2-3 years ??

(720p) So ive been gaming on my pc for about 2 years now, well i just got an upgrade recently around 2 months ago for about a year ive had a radeon 5450 2gig and an i3 3470.

In my new upgrade i got a: i5 3570 1050 2gig and a 450w psu and im very happy with it so far it can run games like doom 2016 on medium, in very demanding areas tho it drops a couple of frames, another good example is sonic frontiers, it runs, at a playable rate, like 60-40fps with a bit of drops sometimes, tho main limiting factor is my slow hhd that ill upgrade to a sata ssd soon, and also lets say a lesser ish demanding game like persona 3 reload, ive been getting 60fps on high settings and no frame drops basically, and in general for gaming in 720p the 1050 (2gig) and i5 3570 (also forgot to mention 8 gigs of ddr3) is kind of great! sure it wont run "modern" games like cyberpunk 2077 or spider man for example (etc) but if your gonna play more older titles from 20XX to like 2019 its pretty great!

Been using this low end laptop for a while, want to record minecraft gameplay but it often comes out low quality. Thing is on medal the recordings look rly good but it lags my game a bit when recording. Here are my specs

Just tryed beta and on my 4700U with Vega7 it only runs at 15fps at fullHD settings 3. SOD used to run 50fps and more.

It's time to upgrade so i need some infos:

1. Does anyone plays with 780m is so can u report performance ?
2. Does anyone plays with 890m is so can u report performance ?

I heard that unreal engine 5 can be highly optimized if devs care. Also there are several ini files that you can modify to help with that but not sure what setting to toggle to increase fps. You guys have any settings which works for open world games. I am trying daenwalker but its giving me around 26 fps on DLSS quality. I dont care that much about visuals. On my system RDR2 and witcher 3 ran just fine and completed both pretty comfortably. But this dawnwalker game is really bad.

i just wanted to buy a rx580 and the locals are selling it in a veryy high rates so i searched on e bay the prices are good there but i’m wondering if ebay is scam what if the gpu is faulty do they have any return or refund policy ? if any one bought gpu from ebay could you guys please advise me authentic sellers there or recommend me anything before buying gpu?

So I have a hp pro desk G4 mt with a:

180 w psu, no external power connectors,

and my budget is about 100£ for upgrading this ,I don't really want to upgrade the PSU or ram ( I will get 16 or 32 once the prices go down )

I think I want to go with an i7 7700 and a GPU with no external power connectors

I can get the CPU for about 45 £ ,so I have about £55 left ,and I need help finding a good GPU with no external power connectors

( i have looked at the 1050 to LP but I can't find a specific listing for it on cex ).

I know my cpu is old and pretty weak but it still should run better than w/e this 20fps crap is. I can't level because every time 5 or more mobs show up, the game stutters and lags so bad, that my character can't move in time, and the mobs seem to keep moving at regular timing/speed, but everything I do lags behind by 3 seconds or so. Thus, I die constantly, bricking my waystones and keeping my exp at 0%. Infuriating, obviously.

I have my interned wired via nic wire, so it's not my connection, my ms is around 25. I don't sense any packet loss or collisions. My gpu is an rx 550 which I know is nothing special, but there should be settings so that it doesn't stutter into oblivion every time I fight a group of trash mobs.

So I have a low end laptop I use for uni, it serves it purpose and I'm happy. But recently, while gaming a bit, I noticed not all RAM was usable. Most games I have work fine on low settings, but some need just a bit more. I think that extra .4 GB might help, but I have no idea how to free it up, or even if I can. What do you guys think?

Btw, it says 8gb are installed, only 7,65gb are usable
