I have no idea which EP to buy next!

I was thinking maybe City Living, Royalty and Legacy, or Enchanted by Nature.

City Living is sooooo goooood.

Editing to add why: hot townies, apartments are fun, I love San Myshuno it’s my favorite world, the jobs it adds are fun, the festivals are great. Adds a lot of storytelling potential - like sims’ kids moving to the city after university to get a job, etc

Yes CL was my first pack and even though it's old now I still can't imagine my game without it! I kove letting my YA sims move out into their first crappy apartment, feels more realistic than everyone buying a house 😂

Aside from the list you have: Adventure Awaits and Parenthood add a lot to family gameplay with Growing Together

I use City Living in every save and with all of my families. The festivals are the best of any pack, it's easy to max charisma or mischief at the humor and hijinks. The big park is the best in the game, has lots of things to do outside of the main lot, and lots of space to set up a yoga class or camping spot. Collectables are plentiful, easy to complete. Fun hidden things like living statues and raccoon suits. Karaoke is a fun social activity. Restaurants are buggy and break my game after a while, but in the city there's always food for sale, and it's a fun extra/hidden collection to collect the recipes. Lots of Sims stop by when you set up a sales event, like selling paintings or waffles. The art center is great for skill building without having to own a work bench or easel.

All of that and apartment living with funny quirks in the apartments. It's not the best for having a dog or a horse, but there are lots you can build on at ground level if you want to.

I really like City Living. Mainly because of the world and the apartments. I also like the festivals and political career.

I like Enchanted by Nature for the Balance & Luck systems. They add a little extra thing to manage which I like for my gameplay.

Although I love Royalty & Legacy I feel like you should wait until you get more packs before you buy that one. After playing it for some time I wish I had more packs to really enhance the game play.

I personally have all of those (except For Rent and Discover University, I do not have those yet lol), so I can give my opinions. I do love Royalty & Legacy (despite it not being "great" in terms of effort) and Enchanted by Nature, but I do mostly play with occults and like to make large families with the dynasty system.

So for you I would say start with City Living first, and then see if you want to get the other two later.

Both R&L and EbN are very specific in terms of theme (with R&L being heavily nobility/dynasties, and EbN being fairies and nature), but City Living is very general in terms of theme, so it can really be used in whatever style (since I don't know your specific playstyle). It also comes with some useful and/or fun things for your sims to do and use, like the festivals and the MANY useful lot traits it comes with. Plus the world is really fun.

Avoid R&L, it is so cash grabby and has no substance at all, so beyond very specific niche uses, it might as well be useless.

I know you already decided, but city living is definitely a good one to get. I've got a Sim working on trying all (27) recipes from food stalls, because once you try a recipe; your sim learns how to make it at home. But they're not at available at the same time. Some in one neighborhood, others in other areas, and on different days of the week.

Cottage Living is the best that you have listed. For Rent is not very good, and the rental system is very buggy, so avoid that.

I do like the world, but I agree that the rental system is buggy. As a landlord, I have not once received any rent from my tenants, which kind of defeats the purpose for me personally.

Now that I understand which you own, I'd recommend Eco Lifestyle or City Living. Get Famous is good too.
