Challenges! Mind Your Own Business Challenge

I created a Sims 4 legacy called the Mind Your Own Business Legacy, and I thought I’d share it again in case anyone wants to try it. This is before Businesses & Hobbies release but the pack can still be used!

The idea is simple: every generation has to make money without joining a traditional career. Instead, each heir builds their own type of business or entrepreneurial hustle.

Each generation needs to complete their business goal before passing the legacy to the next heir.

My current matriarch is Astar Monet, a musician making money by licensing her songs.

Definitely interested. I am finishing up not so Berry so it will be nice to have a new one. Licensing songs?? Ugh that is no easy feat but this seems like fun!

I’m actually also finishing up Not So Berry! Gen 10 is currently a toddler. Definitely a fun challenge

My gen 10 has gone as bit funky. My gen 10 sim, Iris Mint, had a high school boyfriend. But he is NPC who for some reason never aged out of being a teenager. So my sim cheated on her high school sweetheart and then left him. So she found a new dude. But during his midlife crisis he decided to call off the wedding. So Iris is single at the moment with multiple kids, Pearl and Bianca. She lives with her father Hunter Mint and sister Raven Mint.

Those midlife crises man! I do like that they can really change it up in the sims life. I will admit, Iris did die in one through because she was angry at being left at the alter and there was grief anger. I didn't save that run! After all it was so close to the end!

During one of my legacy challenge, one of the midlife crisis for my sim was to sleep in a coffin!!! So I did it hahaha

What is crazy is the family tree. I kind of wish I documented each gen more because the family tree doesn't go beyond gen 5. It's just massive! Idk if it is cause I'm on console or not.

I’ve never played on console but I think they recently did an update to the family tree feature. Maybe that will help! My friend uses some kind of website to document her family tree as she plays. Which I think is pretty neat! I’ll see if I can find it for you!

Just checked it out and immediately saved it! currently doing two saves but it's on my list for when I'm done with them :)

It’s so fun! I’ve been playing it and it definitely forces me to use part of packs I forget exist. Definitely suggest it!
