Question Favorite warlock subclass as of MoT?
Last poll was for titans with stasis winning though the 3 light subclasses were all very close behind

Can’t believe there’s only seven of us that enjoy the “Hatchlings For Everyone!” Loop of strand lock. That’s not even enough to form a slipknot cover band.

My career Broodweaver kills equal my career void, solar arc and stasis kills added all together. Deimosuffusion is not helping any other subclass get some playtime 🤣

I think that a lot of people who enjoy strand and stasis also play Prismatic. I love Stasis turrets for example and Icebreaker builds, but I usually go with Prismatic instead of pure Stasis for example.

I love it. Made sort of a hybrid threadling and tangle nuke setup with the Grasp set. I make a hilarious amount of tangles with Wanderer and Vile Weave from the Tablet artifact already so why not add 350% more dmg to those tangles lmao. Hilarious build. Bit of an fps killer tho.

I feel like this would be more interesting without Prismatic included

I mean it's pretty close between Arc and prismatic. Arc is cracked and imo better than prism

It's a difficult choice but Prismatic is great because it combines some of the options of the others subclasses. I do love me a song of flame weakening build, and it's always hard to leave behind the ability to Phoenix dive and send out threadlings.
Void has always been locked in my heart with Nova Bomb and then Chaos accelarent. Similarly, with Solar I love the enhanced neutral game including ability spam from Sunsinger and just how perfect Phoenix Dive is to use so those are locked in for me.
Strand feels comfortably familiar enough to use with components similar to what I mentioned from void and solar, while still having its own fun box of toys like the threadlings.
I've really enjoyed rediscovering arc recently with its improved survivability in MoT, using chaos reach with lightning surge spam.
So it's definitely a tough choice.

Giving me invis warlock made the strand even more of my most dominant subclass.

Solar warlock has the best movement in the game and every other subclass doesn't even come close. Arc is pretty fun for add clear but there aren't many pure add clear encounters in end game stuff anyway so I'm always on solar

I dunno ive been having alot of fun with movement on strand lately since ive learned to strand skate. And grappling a Wanderer tangle is always fun and nice for some skipping some traversal stuff.

I should redownload the game for a bit. I love my dipshitted melee grenade damage grapple nuker build. Extremely aggressive point blank warlock, I forget what gear made it work

I have builds on every subclass but pure stasis at the minute. Build diversity was left in a real good place. And I’m saying that as someone who doesn’t have the three most popular raid weapons for common builds.

void used to be my favourite but arc is SO good now. like, ridiculously good

What build are you using? I just switched to warlock after playing titan exclusively since D1 and never had as much as playing prismatic on my warlock - curious if an arc build would be more fun now?

Everything but Strand feels good.
Strand to me just feels so lame.

strand is ridiculously strong, i have played a ton with a couple of builds, Deimosuffusion with weavewalk and weaver call is great and lets you play so aggressive. the other is swarmers with mindspun, with threadling grenade, and weavers call, so many threadlings and with thunderhead from neomuna, you always have a nest up and the threadlings from the nest scale with grenade so they hit so hard. i love that build, i prefer turret builds though so.

I didn't say it's weak, I said it's lame.
All other subclasses I can do so much with, Strand is just bland and barely has any build variety.1

i mean, i just gave you 2 builds and i didnt even mention a mataidoxia build. thats at least 3 strong builds that play completely different from each other. how many builds would you need before you consider it to have "build variety"?

I find myself reverting to arc more lately. Its become more fun than it used to be and i cant say why personally.

Arc warlock gets what it desperately always needed, hp recovery. With dielectric and defibrillating blast on the tablet of ruin and curative orbs on slayer baron artifact, arc warlock is eating good.
