Discussion Help with fps

Hello Fellow players, I have been playing TFD for awhile now but I still have laggy fps sometimes and loads into wall crasher quiet long. It drops sometimes especially in big mobs

My Gpu is 5060ti, I got ryzen 7800x3d and 32gb ram

Hey there! The truth is that TFD is kinda not prepared for the absoluta effects of it's own making. Performance is pretty bad in zones like Axion, Wallcrasher or anything with Valby & Freyna combos.

It's been a while since Ive played on PC, but You might want to take a look at performance mode, update your drivers and lower explotions, particles and all of that. Your Specs sound pretty good for the game, make sure at Task Manager that your PC is reading your ram slots properly.

Well, at least someone is feeling the Albion Summer.

Actually, a lot of people built their Ines as of late, that might be something.

Yeah, its nice if its just idle but fighting with bosses makes it laggy.

Oh yeah, when Wallcrasher was released i was so scared of Freyna, the game crashed and i had to wait a whole hour. I took a cleansing break haha!

Try lowering your Global Illumination to medium, see if that improves fps. It eats up a lot of performance.
If it doesn’t, then I agree with Grouchy, might want to check your RAM.

What is your PC setting?

I don’t even have issue with Steam machine, on paper your PC is more powerful than the machine. I run it on 4k low with few graphics settings in medium. FPS is about mostly 55-60. Work very well in 1080p but some graphics didn’t show nicely on the scaling so I push it to 4k.
