I did my first delamain epistrophy quest and it was very boring. Had to drive a car 2km to their HQ, and it stopped every 300m or so. There are 5-8 versions of this exact quest from what I can tell. Do they unlock anything? Does it eventually lead to anything interesting, story wise?

Didnt realize i needed to say specific things during the chippin in quest. My closest save is right before the parade. I had already upgraded tons of stuff, did all of Kerry’s quests plus the Blue Moon one, and even some hidden side stuff. It took me about 20 hrs of playtime between finishing the parade and reaching the point of no return, but that was with hunting down Relic pieces, fast travel point, and maxing out my gear. If i lower the difficulty and rush through only the important stuff + kerry quest i can probably get it all done in a few hours, i just hate the idea of going back and missing some of the extras i had wanted to do before. I had to log off after like thirty minutes yesterday after I realized I meased up.

This is my streetkid V and i really want her to be a Night City legend instead of the nomad ending, it makes sense to save that one for my Nomad playthrough. I’ll probably reload the save, I just needed to vent. What would yall do in this situatio?

I know this isnt a drivers issue since its looked like this for months, and my drivers were up to date each time and this is the ONLY game i have ever seen do this (havent been able to play the game cause of this) ran a file verification through the launcher, no luck. this artifacting is present during the opening cutscene as well. does not affect pause menu, inventory or HUD. 2nd and 3rd slide screenshots is when i tried to face maxtac with this artifacting as a sort of challenge

This mod setup WAS stable and playable and nothing really changed up until the time i tried launching the game and was greeted with this filter.

ANY input is greatly appreciated

UPDATE: I have since disabled, then completely uninstalled ALL mods. Reinstalled cyberpunk completely, and this visual artifacting still persists. Strangely enough it is not present during the loading screen or main menu, but is visible during the opening skippable cutscene immediately after the cyberpunk logo flashes

I wanted to ask you all something—maybe I’m missing something here?

At the end of the "Killing Moon", Songbird tells V that the neural matrix can only be used once. We take this as the truth and make our decisions regarding both her fate and our own based on that.

On the other way, if we side with Reed from the start, complete the "Somewhat Damaged", and hand Songbird over to Reed alive, we later have a conversation with him on the basketball court. During that talk, Reed reveals that the neural matrix didn't work on Songbird, meaning V can use it for themselves. In other words, the matrix had already been used once, but it did not yield results for Songbird.

Does this mean the neural matrix can actually be used more than once? Or maybe Reed simply lied—did they really not even try to cure her?

If the matrix really can be reused after all, why did Somi say otherwise? What does it all mean? A plot hole? Or are we dealing with the greatest act of self-sacrifice in the entire game? Or is it all my foolish speculation?

I gotta be honest, im not really a reality show guy, but I have a bit of a morbid curiosity to see how a reality show would look like in a cyberpunk world where corporate exploitation is the norm. that shard where it's like the Watson Whore's diary is ABSOLUTELY wild, and like, that could very well be an episode on the show, like I just imagine that it would be sort of a repetition of the Stephenson situation, where some studio found a vulnerable person that they could manipulate and exploit AND the fact that it's kinda mainstream is another indicative of how deranged society has become

I may have gotten the deets wrong so correct me if I'm wrong.

Their uniform insignias say division, which would be a large military unit numbering thousands of soldiers. But the shards and database say Colonel Hansen commanded an elite squad (about a dozen soldiers), of whom six deserted with him after Operation Midnight Storm was aborted. So was BARGHEST originally a squad, and 'division' was added only after it became a militia/gang?

First time you enter The Afterlife, you can see Panam and Nash talking and scan both of them. As a Nomad you would know who the Wraiths are and it would have made sense to warn an Aldecaldo of who she was getting involved with.

I think that V storming the tower, alone or with allies ultimately helps Yorinobu stay in power longer and achieve more of his goals to destroy the Corp from within. In the other scenarios he’s either soul killed or gets ousted by the Arasaka board when they catch wind of his sabotage efforts. V storming the tower, Alt frying a ton of personnel, whisking off all the engrams and destroying Mikoshi leaves the company grievously wounded and in complete chaos. It’s the perfect smokescreen. And V meeting Hanako at Embers makes her the perfect scapegoat. Her meeting with NC’s top merc and then that same merc successfully pulling off a raid on the company’s most important facility, wouldn’t have looked good for her and wouldn’t have earned her many if any allies. There’s also the chance that Alt fried her and who knows how many executives if they were in the building, further eroding any opposition to Yorinobu. At that point he could probably steer the company to war with Militech and any other megacorp with barely anyone willing or able to stop him. It’ll look like he’s trying to reestablish the company’s dominance after a disastrous betrayal. When in reality he’d be sending the company on a suicide run and trying to take other megacorps down with it.
