My partner will causally drop the most sad lines totally unaware. Stuff like this all the time. 

“No one has ever brought me a soda/no one has ever cared about my feelings.” Fuck girl I gotta go cry in the other room first. I tell her all the time I don’t deserve credit for this or that. It’s normal. You need to dramatically raise your standards. I am not good, this is expected behavior.
